  1. Thank you. It's not severe. It's spasm like and pretty uncomfortable after I eat or drink but then calms down. It's right in the center of my belly, right below by breast bone. I did start back to the basic diet. I have also tried taking more gas meds and Zantac and nothing seems to help.
  2. Has anyone had this.....I'm almost 3 months out and all of a sudden having uncomfortable cramping and pain in my sleeve. It's almost like it was right after the surgery when my sleeve seemed grumpy and had to be retrained to eat again. I have done nothing I haven't been told to do and nothing significant has changed. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks!
  3. I feel the same way. My surgery was 2/24 and I just don't feel like doing anything. I know I need to exercise but I just can't make myself do it. I have lost 38 lbs. I start to worry about the lack of calories daily and what if my body is trying to conserve and not let me lose weight now. I haven't lost anything in a week and I am a little down due to constipation and lack of food.
  4. I had mine done yesterday too..abdomen pain is nagging. Very dry mouth despite drinking. How are you?

  8. My surgery is tomorrow too. I am just overwhelmed with " the what ifs?" I just want it over with so I can live a normal life again. The liquid diet is old. Good Luck to you!

  10. This is day 5 of my 2 week preop diet....and the first real day I have struggled. The preop soups and shakes are nauseating today. The snow is heavy and I am stuck in the house with my kids and surrounded by valentines candy and cookies. I haven't given in to temptation yet. And I'm staying strong, but I am worried...can I do this..can I make it....how will I do after surgery??
  11. My doctor says the 2 week liquid diet gets rid of all the glycogen stores around your liver, rids abdomen of some fat and shrinks your liver some so the laparoscopic surgery is easier and safer to do. Plus it's bonus weight loss and kind of gets you used to the liquid diet immediately needed after surgery. I am on day 4 of my liquid diet. I'm not that hungry. Just a little tired. Just getting nervous. My surgery is 2/24
