Me thinks 2 things....that I posted on here once before and that I am one of THE slowest losers ever. I was banded in 8/07. The first week after surgery I lost 14lbs. Since then (well as of 2/8) I've lost another 12.5lbs. :eek: It's soooo frustrating to me!!! Don't mean to sound like a baby.....but I'm glad I'm not alone and that I have you guys to lean on. :wink2: I do look at the before and afters......I LOVE THEM.....you (they) all look sooo great. :wink_smile: Have a great day everybody!!!

Hi everybody...Not quite at my 6 month mark yet but so far I've lost 26.5lbs. Was banded on 8/14/07. You guys have all done great!!!! Let's all keep up the great work!!! WE CAN DO THIS:thumbup:

Boo....:thumbup:I just wanted to congratulate you and say that you a true inspiration. I am banded as of 8/14/07 and have lost 26.5lbs. I still have about 55-60 to yet (or even a little more...started at 191& doc says my ideal body wt is 112). I think I can do this and your story and others like it really do inspire. Thanks again. Oh and any meal preps you can help with will be appreciated also. :thumbup:

:angry:I was just wondering if anybody could help me? I got a fill last week and it seems everytime I eat something...I vomit (well most times). Things that I ate before my last fill I can't eat anymore. And the only way that I know that I can't eat it is to try it and then I vomit. HELP PLEASE???????:biggrin:

:redface:I'm still wearing my old clothes (I don't mind wearin em a little baggy)....but I've been to thrift stores. Sister (who had gastric bypass & is shrinking fast) will give me some of hers. I think thrift stores would be fun....you can find all kinda stuff there. :biggrin: :eek:

I am Shelly. Seems since I've gotten my last fill last week....there have only been a few meals where I haven't thrown up. I don't know if it's because I'm too tight or if it could be breads/pastas. :tt1: :tongue: You having this problem also??

I do get sick & have to vomit when I eat too fast. Also sometimes when I eat bread. Was banded 8/07.

Hi all....from PA. Banded in 8/07 and since have only lost 18-20lbs. Lapbandit...not married/no kids....maybe someday though (at least the married part) but then I think why...havin fun just being me (hoping to be a skinnier me)!!!:whoo::clap2:

Hello everybody!!! It's been a long time since I've been here. I am just feeling down.....had my surgery on 8/14/07. Did really great that first week, lost 12-13lbs. Since then I've only lost 7-8lbs more for a total of about 20lbs. My goal is between 60-70. I don't know what to do!?!?!?! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

My first fill is scheduled for this Wednesday, the 26th. Had my surgery on 8/14. I'm kind of nervous. I've only lost 12lbs since surgery...holding though.....haven't lost haven't gained so I guess I could count that as a plus. I have another question....can you guys feel your port? If I put my hand on my stomach above my "wound" I can feel the port. Also, I have this awful cold and have been coughing and today booooy did it hurt when I coughed. Is this normal....does anybody know? Thanks bunches. Jackie

Hi all!! My name is Jackie. I am from PA. I was banded 8/14. Went for my week checkup today and lost 11.5lbs :clap2:. I'm feeling pretty good...hope that keeps up. Anyway, thanks, just wanted to introduce myself. Hope to meet a lot of new people/friends here. :whoo:
