@jane13 - I stayed overnight, but bout 4 hours after surgery I was up and moving on my own. I went in for Surgery on a Tuesday and came back to work the next Monday. A little pain but got one of those small neck pillows and put it between my stomach and my desk and worked fine. I would recommend the sleeve over the band just because the sleeve is one and done. Where the band is you have to keep coming in to the Dr. for adjustments, or so my Dr. said which I believed him because he talked me into the Sleeve and glad I went with it.

  5. Thinking out loud, but every other forum topic is a "Pity Party". People please, keep your head up and move forward. Everyone on here Im sure has struggled with food, hunger, cheating, etc. once in their life. Move on, especially ones who have had their surgery. Put your head up these are happy days, you have been given a gift. Instead of crying about what you cant eat, go to the gym, go outside, ride a bike, etc. You should have known what you were getting into. And know that this is for the better, this is a gift, this is a second chance, and get on board and worry about that!

  6. 1st day back at work, feeling pretty good. Down 32 pounds.

I like to use the big number too. I remember how it physically and emotionally felt to weigh that much and I don't ever want to be there again. And for me it does show my total progress on this choice I made.
