Join the crowd. If anyone tells you that they are not nervous then they are not being up front. I read everything my doctor gave me and reread it and reread it. Some of it is so very confusing. Right now I am getting used to the 80 grams of Protein and -40 grams of carbs. My diet was the opposite way around. You came to this decision I am sure with much thought and consideration. You want to do this, you need to do this, so you will do this. I almost can't wait to be on the liquid diet cause I know I can get the protein in that way.

Mine was 1500 which I have like half left as well. Thank god for insurance. I have seen people's bills and the suergery cost between 30k to 50k

I FINALLY got my surgery date. November 13th. YES! YES!!!! I'm sooooo excited about this leg of my journey. I'm not a fool to think it will always be candy and Rainbows but I know it will be worth it all. With any major changes there will be an adjustment or transition time but anything worth having is worth the transition!

I'm using a countdown app too. Mine was free on iPhone. It's called T zero.

I have Blue cross and they have not mentioned anything about upfront money. I'm hoping they will bill me cuz I don't know what I will do if they ask me to pay now.

For me it was a miss understanding. All we need 2 worry about is the out of pocket amount.

My birthday is the 1st. It sucks I'll be on liquids lol

I have slowly eased my self into it. I started doing the shakes for breakfast 2 weeks ago. I'm ready to make that jump to 2 shakes a day. Well it helps that I still get a serving of chicken and a salad for dinner. So it's not completely just liquids.

You are lucky. I'm on 4 shakes 2 bars and a Soup a day.

I'm November 4th

When I was doing my 2 week diet. I was on Optifast and had to drink 4 shakes.

So after running out of the hospital in terror like a crazy person on my surgery date last week, I am here this week desperately trying to reschedule.

The scheduler told me on Monday she could make it for next week and she'd call me Monday afternoon or Tuesday. I heard nothing. I called, left messages. Still nothing today. I feel like I'm being punished for chickening out last week. Or maybe she's just busy, but I am dyin' over here!

I am also on week 3 of 4 on my pre-op diet, since I never stopped doing it in hopes of rescheduling ASAP. Good news is I've lost 3 more lbs since Friday. Bad news is I AM SO HUNGRY NOW. Pre-op diet was easy for the first week and a half or so, but starting to get hard.

Anyone else approved and anxiously awaiting the phone call to schedule? I am going crazy over here!

I am so excited to be a better, healthier version of myself. Don't give up or let anyone talk you out of what you want in life. I started the process last year and stopped due to some negative comments from people that supposedly cared about me. Never again!

Hello all any information would be GREATLY appreciated, so ive just started my Journey I had one consultation the Dr. was somewhat informative but they keep telling me I have to have medical records for the past 5 years I know it sounds terrible but i have none besides possibly from 2 years ago when I went to the emergency room I have BCBS of NC and wanted to know if that would be a big problem on getting approved. Ive struggled with weight problems since i was 15 ive tried herbalife,Hcg,Diet Center,etc and nothing has worked for me I just manage to keep going up, but after finding out about the medical records I am starting to feel very hopeless any feedback would be appreciated.

I have BCBS from Delaware and they only took 2 years. Call the insirance and see if there is a way around it. Good luck 2 u
