It makes me feel so much better when you say that the hopsital bills you for the 250. I was told that I need to Pat 50% since my insurance only cover that portion but my out of pocket is 1500 so I'm just waiting. Did you insurance say they cover 85% of it. That's actually great -

I have a 750 copay but BCBS only covers 50% of it. I thought that since it was covered as long as the copay is made its covered completely. . ????

I was one of the people who knew it was covered but didn't check how much it was covered. Now I am waiting on my date but will have a whole in my pocket for months. Don't let this happen to you.

Hello all. I have been doing this process for longer than 6 months. Today is the day that they submitted to blue cross blue shield. She said that they are really quick with approvals. I hope that is the case for me. I was hoping for the end of october but I guess I'll wait longer lol. Any one has blue cross blue shield? How long did it take to get and answer? Also did you get approved right away?

Yeah no one told me anything about it. I'm actually freaking out myself. Hopefully it's not as bad as we think. Your doctor should tell you when they submit to insurance. -

I wasn't expecting anything but I hope the hospital bills me later. My out of pocket is $1500 with I have already paid 700 so it shouldn't be more then than 800 all together I hope. -

Don't lose your motivation hun. I have been there before and it was not good. I already had gotten approved with my previous insurance and then they decline me a week later. I know this waiting game sucks but it will all work out.

I was told that I have to pay 640.00 to the surgon before my procedure. Do you have to pay anything? I also have to pay the hospital.

I'm waiting for my stuff to get sent for an apporval. I know the feeling about getting scared of not being approved. I feel that right now as I an closer to a date. I'm going to pray so that you can get your date soon. ????

That's really good. I hear people have pain for a long period of time. I'm glad your pain was not long. -
That may be the way to go. If you really want the sleeve you may need to take the meds. If he is fine there shouldn't be no reason 4 u 2 be fine 2.

It's hard to decide because of the acid reflux. Have you asked if there is any medications he can put you on in the beginning since the stomach will be so irritated after the procedure? What about the lapband?
