    Why am i hungry?

I feel hungry sometimes, but knowing I can satisfy that feeling with just a small amount makes me feel less anxious about it. Making a good choice is sometimes the hard part. I recently spent a day eating more than usual because I was so hungry, and it actually kicked my weight loss in a bit in the next couple of days. Don't worry if you feel hungry, just try to handle it in the right way.
  2. Forgot to mention, I too was sleeved in October. Down 35 lbs so far.
  3. I feel hungry sometimes, and when I do, I always think first of eating something I shouldn't. I have to remind myself often that I can eat something good for me, and feel satisfied due to the tiny sleeve I now have. It's so hard to break the habit of being a "fat person". I'm gradually getting used to being able to have a protein drink or something else that's ok to eat, and feeling full. I guess that's from all the times I tried to diet before, when I would feel deprived and end up pigging out. And that is exactly why I got sleeved!
  4. I thought I would be open to anyone who asked, but when I told my mom and my aunt before I had surgery, they both had quite a negative reaction to it. Mostly out of concern for me, thinking it would be too difficult to live with the major changes. Since then, I feel awkward telling anyone I had surgery. People really notice now that I've lost weight, but I find myself answering that I'm just eating a lot less. Technically true, but I don't feel right hiding part of the truth. It's like I can't make myself say "I had surgery", yet I don't really mind if people know. Just a weird situation for me.

    Totally clogged

Once you get 'cleaned out', make sure you get in plenty of fluids. I've found things go much better when I drink plenty of water. Good luck, it's a bad feeling to be backed up!

    5 weeks out problem!

I've found that if I don't drink enough water throughout the day, I feel very tired.
  7. I stayed diligently on the prescribed diet through the liquid and soft-food phases because I was really afraid of causing a leak in my sleeve. Now that I am able to eat everything again, I still stop as soon as I feel full, because I have found that eating even one more bite past full does not feel good!

    frustrated and need advice

I'm so tired of protein shakes, and my surgeon just added a third to my daily intake, ugh. I immediately ordered the Unjury starter pack. I've heard it's really good, so I'm hoping for the best!

    Stalled..So frustrating

Don't worry about stalls so early in the process. Your body has to adjust to the new, tiny amount you're eating. It's impossible not to lose weight when eating so little. Try staying off the scale, weighing only weekly ( advice which I cannot make myself follow, lol). It will happen!

    Hairloss! ????????

My hair loss also started right at the 3-month mark, a couple of weeks ago. I'm really nervous about how long it will continue; I've heard it lasts til about 6 months post-op.

    Mourning Food - Post Op

I've had the same experience, thinking about the loss of pigging out. I've found myself feeling really excited about eating something good, followed by the disappointment of remembering that I can only eat a small amount. But as time passes, it gets easier to deal with. I have found that I really can eat pretty much anything, although I have to be very careful with fried food. I don't indulge much, try to keep with the protein/fruit or veggie only at each meal, but I still enjoy occasionally eating pasta or Mexican food. Don't be too discouraged; it's a sacrifice, but each passing week gets easier. It's a lifestyle change, and it's hard to change the way the mind works after a lifetime of eating anything you want, in any amount.
