I heard that Dr.Q was getting some shit talk. I hope this is not true, there are a lot of us that have benefited from his expertise. I have lost over 100 lbs since 2/20/2014. I went with 2 girlfriends and we had a great experiance. If I get booted off this forum because of this post ....What a shame!

I won't be able to weigh in till 12/29

Been so off with weigh ins! 12/1/14 I weighed 184, so up a bit from Turkey Day, then by 12/4 I weighed 181.5 and then forgot to weigh in on Friday! Hopefully I can get back on track with checking in when I am supposed to!

I suggest logging ASAP just because it can be a vital habit to have in your arsenal if you ever do have a real stall or wieght gain. New habits and behaviors are vital to your long term success!

Every body responds differently to major surgery, stay off the the scale, it happens! I did not lose for a couple of weeks and now I am almost -100 pounds in less then a year! IT HAPPENS

It took me @ 6 weeks to feel "normal". Eat popsicles, tummy is swollen and the cold helps with swelling and it is a way of getting in liquid. I don't mind most protien shakes, I shop for low sugar high protien. Flavor free to add the Soup.< /p>

Does anyone know if you can post from an Android phone? Since my tablet got crushed by my nephew I would like to be able to post with my phone and can not figure it out.

First, trust your instincts! If you are concerned about everyone finding out keep it to yourself! I choose not to tell anyone that I either knew would have a negative attitude or was a jabber jaws! It is such a personal journey and it is uncomfortable to be judged no matter what you do! I was so judgmental about people that had surgery! Then I changed the way I viewed my weight. Instead of berating myself for being such a failure at losing my weight I realized that it had turned into a disease for me. I was sick and only getting worse. I was addicted to sugar and simple carbs and had no control. Then I learned about the sleeve, that was something that made sense for me and offered me a tool that I thought I could utilize. It is working and it is a miracle! You may find that you become less sensitive about people finding out, let yourself evolve with your sleeve, don't feel like you have to do anything! When and if your ready you'll share. Right now you need to stay in your healing! You need to worry about you and learning how to take care of you! Now is a time to be selfish in that this transformation is going to affect all aspects of your life! Be prepared, you may lose friends or the relationships change, you are going to be different. My husband says I exude confidence now, and I am starting to feel it!

I am back and ready for another challenge! Getting close to goal and losing slow now. Today I was 184.5 which is AMAZEBALLS! Does anyone know how to post using an Android? I have the app on my phone but do not know how to post with it?

I am 5'10", big boned, I my goal size is a 10. I still want to lose another 25lbs...OMG I can not believe I am that close to my goal weight!!! OMG! I have only bought one pair of shorts since losing and they are a size 14 falling off of me. My sister in law gave me shorts that are too big for her, I am not sure what size they are but they too are falling off of me! I am terrified to go shopping because I don't want to try something on and it not fit. I am so used to being in a dressing room trying to decide if the clothes look decent enough to bother spending money on. I put on a belt the other day to hold up my pants and the belt was way too big! Time to go shopping....yup freaking out!

I went to Mexico, different Dr. You will be well taken care of so don't be scared. Having someone with you is great because while you have your drain and IV it was nice to have someone pick up my suitcase! Maybe you could talk a friend into going with you.
