I am also a little over 4 weeks out and I am having all of the same thoughts as you. I just want to feel normal again and I am beginning to think that this may be the new normal. I had a consult with my surgeon and he said that these feelings are normal for some and to be patient and it will get better. So I have no choice but to believe him. Just know you are not alone. This forum is great and it has helped me.

I was sleeved 1 week ago today. I have no energy at all. I get up to do something, such as putting dishes in the dishwasher and I am completely wiped out. I am a little nervous because I go back to work next week, I am not sure if I will be ready. I have to be honest I am getting my liquids in but I am still having a very hard time getting the Protein in. Has anyone else felt like they have no energy? What have you done to help?

I was sleeved on January 21st. I had to do clear liquids for 3 day, full liquids for 5 days (which I am still on) and then puree for 4 weeks, then soft foods.

I am also 4 days post op! I feel the same as you, every other day is good. I don't even come close to the 64 oz of Fluid and I am having a really hard time with the Protein. I ordered powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury and just got it in the mail, I tried it this morning and it isn't too bad but I was not able to drink the whole 8 oz. I am really worried if I don't get my Protein in that I am going to lose my hair! How are you doing with the protein? Do you have anyother suggestions on how to get it in?

I had my surgery on Tuesday, I stayed in the Hospital for 2 days and came home this afternoon. I don't feel well at all, my stomach aches, very bubbly and is very sore. How long does this feeling last for? Any tips on relieving these symptons? I am starting to ask myself why I did this to myself.

Thank you everyone for the kind words! I really needed to hear them tonight. Not sure if I will get much sleep tonight, but I am going to try! Tricia C. I am sorry yours got cancelled, that has to be heartbreaking for you. Hopefully the insurance problems will work themselves out and you can reschedule really soon. I will keep everyone posted on my progress.

I didn't like the taste or the consistency of them, they felt to heavy in my stomach too. The Protein shots are a 3 oz. bottle of Protein, so it is less to drink, but I have read that they are nasty tasting too. I am going to give them a try though because 3 oz is better than 8 oz. I got the shake mix at GNC but then found out that Walmart has the same thing for more than half the price. I am going to check walmart out tomorrow for the shots.

My surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, 2014. I am getting anxious/nervous. I am worried about getting all of the Protein in after the surgery because I have had a hard time drinking the Protein shakes during this whole past week of liquids only. I want to try the Protein Shots, hoping they will be easier to get down. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I was sleeved on 1/21/14, my SW 294 CW 243 I am down 51 lbs! After a very rocky start everything has gotten a lot better for me. I still can't do Protein shakes, but I always eat my Protein first so I feel like I am getting enough in. I am able to drink 64 oz a day, which was very difficult at first but I have found it gets easier with time. I try to walk everyday, but looking into joining a gym soon. Very tired when I get home for work but I have to push myself to get going! Love hearing everyone else's experiences!
