  1. Not nervous for surgery - but a bit anxious for the pre-op diet! Weird - right?

i think im just building up anxiety for no reason. lol. I've tried all the different flavors of the fusion shakes. and i really don't care for any of them. vanilla was the best (not great but not as bad as the others). i'm going to look into some others this weekend and talk to synergy about it on wed. when i go for my pre-op class. hopefully they will let me atleast alternate between fusion and another brand. what about you?

I have been reading up on the Premier brand. I went yesterday for my first appt with Dr. Caravetta. I asked the Pharmicist and he told me they recommend the fusion because it has everything we need it. He made it sound that anyone was okay as long as it was comparable. He did mention that you have to be careful, some shakes have a higher saturated fat than others. I did look on the internet for both shakes nutritional values. I have yet to compare them. A co-worker of mine did go to the store and bought SF syrups to add to them. She said it made a world of a differnce.

I have tried so many protein shakes and they were all nasty until I tried the Premier Chocolate one. I didnt shake it up good enough so it was a bit lumpy but when i did it was actually really good. Kind of thick consistancy as of you put a banana in one but really good. I have a vanilla one to try today. We shall see but the best so far. 30G Protein 160 calories 1gram sugar 3 g fat for 11 oz. Pretty good. You can get them at costco!
