Hi All, I am in the beginning of my journey. I keep going back and forth on what I should do. I know that I really should have this surgery but at the same time I am scared out of my mind. I have cancelled my appts a couple of times now.. Has anyone been scared or nervous like me? What did you do to help you make your final decision? -

Disappointing show, everyone still fat!

This post saddens me. Not everyone started at a smaller weight. Some people have struggles. That person who still "looked fat" to you could have just been celebrating 50 lbs lost. My point is,please don't judge. -
I won't be having surgery until July but I don't really want people at my job getting suspicious so I might only be taking 1-2 weeks off.

I know some bcbs does cover..it usually has a higher premium though. Bcbs has faster approvals,especially if your bmi is over 40.

I would def look into getting a policy that includes bariatric surgery. I know that BCBS does.

I have bcbs of IL and will be having surgery this summer. I was told by my doctor that bcbs generally does quick approvals especially if you have a bmi over 40.
