HW in life 375 SW 339 (12/19/13) CW 296 Total lost 43 lbs. Celebrated my birthday last Wednesday by purchasing a combo recumbent bike and elliptical machine. Can't wait until it gets delivered. BTW- Does anybody else feel like they can't 'see' the loss? For me it's more like I feel the loss in my clothes and my physical mobility but I don't necessarily see a big change. -

Hey Fostermama! Congrats bc that is a big milestone! What about a new haircut? Or a new pair of shoes? Or you could do something that you have always wanted to do but stopped yourself because of weight? I also like some of the other ideas like a mani/pedi, or a small piece of jewelry you can keep as a momentous. -

Total NSV for me today...I debated about trying on some real jeans which have been hanging in my closet for YEARS since I've been able to wear them (as opposed to pull on stretch jeans). I took a chance and lo and behold THEY FIT and NO MUFFIN TOP from them either!!! That means I'm down from a tight waisted 28 to a comfortable 22 and that feels wonderful. -

My weigh in day of the week is Thursday since I had my surgery on a Thursday. My one month surgiversary is 1/19 though so I may be posting results twice -

For what it's worth, I also work in public school as a special ed facilitator and I'm having a really hard time getting my fluids in at work. I think it's because even though I'm out of the classroom I was conditioned to avoid having to use the restroom. I'm going to try the 20 minute interval reminder and see if that helps! -

I took a leap of faith today. I purged my closet of the largest sized clothing (26). I decided to do it considering the weight I've lost already and that since returning to work I experimented with wearing some blouses that had gotten too tight. It was definitely my first NSV. -
