  1. It's hard for me to go also. I am still doing full liquids, but it's still hard! I should be good and cleansed by now, but I still don't go until 4-5 days later. I am getting worried something else might be wrong. pureed foods.....I am still having a lot of trouble with them. I'm so sick of liquids, but what else can I do.
  2. Oh my! You look Beautiful!! Question.....I am 4 weeks post op today. I want to exercise but I don't have the energy to start! I really to want to take advantage but how can I get started. My PA asked me if I was interested in working out, I told yes. She just said "OK, that's good". I just don't have the energy. What suggestion do you have. I walk for 10 min every 4 hours....I still scared of the blood clots. Congrats! I can't wait until it's my turn
  3. Me, me, me too! I'm sick of saying "excuse me". My husband says the same "you alright, need some water"? I thought it was just when I ate something new....not the case.
  4. I'm Soooooo jealous! You look fantastic!
  5. Thank you! Very inspiring for me.....remember we are in this journey together. Finally I will probably be the biggest LOSER in the family! Good luck on your journey! Sleeved 12/19/13.
  6. I went to see my NUT, she said "you're fine, it just takes some people longer than others to progress". She gave me a list of new things to try on a daily basis, so I will give it a go. By the way......I lost 6 lbs since the 8th. I know that from not being able to eat anything but broth....YUCK! I am so ready to try Wendy's chili.....small of course. My husband had a large one last night...he said "it will probably take you 2 days to eat this". Yep!
  7. Eat pureed foods, drink water and take my vitamins! That seems like to much to do in one day !
  8. It will be over before you know it! Sip, sip, and sip! Stay hydrated!
  9. My husband was at work, he took off 1/2 days to get the kids off the bus and take care of them (7 kids, 5 at home). My two daughters stay with me the whole way. Husband took care of the kids. He asked me which would I prefer......I honestly told him that since the hospital was 2 1/2 hours away........If something happened at home he would already be there, instead of racing to get home.
  10. Me, 2 nights....but the lady next to me only 1 night....same surgery, we got sleeved. Honestly, I didn't want to go home in one night. The first two days were HELL for me!
  11. And your journey begins!!!! Congrats!
  12. I guess I'm not as alone as I thought I was! Suppose to go see my NUT on Wed. Hopefully she can give me some insight on what's going on with my stomach. I honestly don't think I could live off Turkey broth, Jello, and popsicles. I tried some tomato soup (1 tablespoon) and I was nauseated all day until about 11pm......ate it at 12p. What's wrong with me people!!! I hope all of us get some type of balance with our stomachs soon. I really feel bad for us, especially after reading the posts...but I have to say I am glad I am not in this by my self.
  13. I'm 3 weeks out and still can't eat pureed foods! I am sooooo frustrated, I have not graduated from full liquids yet. I tried a egg Monday and it did not do well with my stomach at all. It seems every food I try is bad for my stomach. Ok, through venting!
  14. Soooo happy for you! I got sleeved Dec. 19th 2013, still trying to adjust but I am so happy to say I'm sleeved
  15. I'm still struggling! 20 days out and I am still having alot of trouble getting pass stage 2. Everything is upsetting my stomach. I talked with my Dr. he seems to think I am doing great!
  16. Good Luck! I'm 19 days out!
