I had same problem could not stand the protein drinks. A friend of mine that had her surgery 11 yrs ago showed me wht she takes and i tried it and love love love it. Well i had my surgery Nov 19 2013. I had tried so many times to lose weight and i gain it all back. So the last straw was when i lost 40 lbs dieting and gain all back plus more with health problems. I had plus 3 pitting edema and heart would feel like it wanted to jump out of chest. Doctors told me losing weight was good but gaining it back put to much strain on my heart. So this surgery gave me second chance and to feel alive again. I am only 32 yrs old with 5 awesome kids and hubby. Now i feel like i have so much more energy to play with them. Also now i will be around for them. So thankful for this life saving second chance...

Actual having bloody drainage is normal. Has your doctor started u on antibiotics? It sounds like you have a infection. But i am not a doctor so dont get scared because right antibiotics do wonders. Foul smell and color is indication of infection. Have your doctor look at it. They will probably take a sample and send to lab. Like i said i am not doctor but i would not wait on it either. Better be safe then sorry.

Was it always that color when they put the drain in? The only reason i ask is i am a surgical nurse and have patients with drains all the time

What color is the drainage? Also how much drainage are you getting out? And no wont hurt to have removed

Sorry u got sick.. not sure if that is dumping but i also cant tolerate certain foods and get sick very fast.. hope u feel better

Okay i know this may sound like stupid question but how do you do before and after pics on same photo like spit photos is it a special app?

I can only take in little less then 1/2 cup sometimes only 2 bites depending on food

Its normal to be worried i had my surgery nov 19 2013. You can sit and lay whatever way makes you comfortable and it wont cause damage. Your body will let u know if your not comfortable. As far as coughing it is still good idea this early on to split your stomach with a pillow to help reduce strain on your stomach merry Christmas hope this helps

And so happy she did cause i cant stand stuff that taste gross. I love the cookie and cream one along with many others and like 1-2 g sugar comparied to some others

I agree dont advance to soon. Your body is still healing. Sometimes i also thought i was hungry but what it was i was needing more fluids.
