Has anyone ever choose not to have there extra skin removed because they want it there as a reminder of what you have done to your body. And that you did lose all that weight but the extra skin is reminder so you don't abuse your body anymore..?? I know some may think this is silly question but some may say we were crazy to have gotten in this place in first place'.

After first week it will relax. I think your spasms are probably gas pains which while in Hosp and on discharge they gave me chewable gas pills works wonders

I got to say i love the fact my clothes are all very baggie on me and time to buy new. But glad the double chin is gone. I can breath normal when walking. I dont sound like someone that needs oxygen anymore. I will final be able to go on amusement park rides. Its so upsetting when u find out u to big for ride or belt dont fit. Cant tell u how many times i cried because the fat mom could not fit on ride and your child needs an adult to ride with them. And to have to explain to your child he can ride because you dont fit.

I personal think getting the band you have a higher chance of setting your self up for disappointment. Sleeve has been a wonderful tool for me and i need permanent. I dont want to ever gain all the weight i lost again. I have a better chance with the sleeve then i would have with the band.

My surgery was nov 19 and as of today i am down 60 lbs.... 330 lbs down to 270.. loving my life saving sleeve.

Way to go girl.. you have alot to be proud of. Cant wait til the day i am in your shoes.

Wow girl u look amazing i sure hope my weight loss will get as good as yours my highest weight was 330 and currently 277. What is your activties and some foods you eat..

Ask nurses for a safety pin. They should have pin it to your gown so that would not happen.

I would like to join in.. i was sleeved 19 th nov,2013 i weight 330 lbs and now weigh 279lbs. My first goal is to hit 200lbs then work down to 180.. if i lose more that will be awesome

Congrats on start of new you:).. take advantage of the pain meds. Your body can heal better when not in pain. Prayers for fast recovery. I had mine done on nov 19 th and have lost 51 lbs

I also wish i could hug u. Very soon you will get your weight loss wish. What happen to you is horrible. But you are a fighter and the past will not hold you down.
