  1. first congrats on the weight loss! Sorry you are having a these struggles. I use premier protein drinks and unjury powders. I eat things like broths,cream soup, grits and oatmeal along with Greek yogurt and cottage cheese. The first few weeks they tell use not to get caught up in the amount of protein, just do as much as you can. I also use liquid egg whites and pb2(powder peanut butter) to boost my protein by adding to my shakes. I also try to get things down ever 2-3 hrs even if it's just a few spoonfuls. Good luck, I'm sure others will chime in with ideas as well.

  6. Same with me. 3rd day after...no gas pain at all, I was lucky, mine wasn't so bad anyway and I didn't gain a pound from the fluids and gas.
  7. Casey, you may wanna ask in some of the post op threads. I hope you are ok, I have a 2yr grand child and she almost jumped on my in the hospital.
  8. SD. Was the 17th. All went well, actually was surprised I didn't gain any weight from all the gas and fluids. Just got home, but I will stalk this thread for all the info!
  9. I'm home! Worst part was the ride home! Oh the pot holes. Each day it got easier to get my fluids in. Good luck to all ...see you guys on the losers bench!
  10. Hi all! Doing well, pain isn't bad..used pump once. Took a couple of laps around the ward, little gassy,worst thing is the dry mouth and throat. I will check back in later. Thank you to everyone
