Rny here, but haven't found a thread for people of color there. Just had my final dr. Visit today and turned in all my paperwork. Hoping for a February surgery. By the way, I'm 49 and single in Columbus, Ohio

I am going to be honest and tell you I've had "last supper syndrome" for a few weeks. Monday starts my high protein/low carb diet until January 20 when my liquid diet starts. I'm sure I will experience the same when my time draws near. Hang in there and keep your eye on the prize.

How did everyone do on the holiday? I'm single and my family is in another state, so I avoided the pitfalls.
