  14. sorry that you were delayed. Time will go by quickly, I went through the same thing, I was approved on 1-5-13 and had to wait until 3-17-14. It's worth the wait

  19. Most patients will have a small tube to allow drainage of any accumulated fluids from the abdomen. This is a safety measure, and it is usually removed a week after the surgery. Generally, a drain is a minor discomfort.....my date is March 17th
  20. Testing all done! Said I'm all cleared for surgery! No pre op diet...just can't go on a last minute splurge..lol. Have to keep a drain in for 7-10 days post op...bummer final meeting with surgeon this Friday.

  22. welcome to the group Mclosin' congrats on the surgery and house! How long have you been on your diet? I've read that it gets better after a few days if you are just starting out.
