  9. Saturday morning.....feeling kinda of "blue" already.....I went to breakfast with a couple of friends. While I was trying to eat at least a half of my omelet (I have been very resricted after my last fill).....I started to watch everyone else eating their HUGE, YUMMY breakfasts. One women had a large omelet with all the cheese and ham you could imagine, hash browned, fruit, two pieces of thick toast with butter and pancakes...OMG, I wished for a minute that I could enjoy a breakfast like that. Then a man across from me was eating a huge beluigm waffle with blueberry filling and whipped cream on top. I wanted to eat like them...damn it!!!! I just don't know why I am feeling this way. Then today my daughter wanted Chinese food...so I watched her eat this delicious plate of chinese food, with fried rice and an eggroll....took two bites of the brocoli and came home and went to bed with a golfball in my throat. I am eating very little due to resriction, but I must be eating too much soft stuff as I gained 2 pounds this week....crap.....that makes me feel even worse. Thanks for letting me vent.....
  10. O.K., I would be the last person to be considered the head of the cheerleading squad, BUT we need to shout and yell about our victories.....we have been dwelling on scales which are not moving the right direction, slippage, erosion, feeling like failures, etc...... WE SHOULD BE PROUD OF OUR BANDSTER LIFESTYLE AND EMBRACE IT!!!! I know that scale victories rock, but I can bet that if you take just a couple minutes and count your non-scale victories it would make you SMILE. I will start my NSV list and you add on...... 1. Can sit in booth now 2. Can tie my shoes without wanting to puke 3. Can go up and down the stairs without having to take a rest 4. Can drive my car without being trapped behind the wheel 5. Not afraid to put on a seatbelt in someone else's car 6. I can lift things again 7. A regular bracelet fits my wrist 8. I don't schedule my life around food 9. My feet and legs are not swollen anymore 10. Can sit in a movie theater without pinching my butt in the sit. I could go on, but it's your turn now..... YOU RAH...BANDSTER'S RULE....YOU RAH!!!!
  11. You guys simply rock....I know that when it gets tough I can always count on you guys to set me straight and give me the confidence to keep on losing. I feel better today especially since I went to my ob/gyn appointment and she was so thrilled with my weight loss....I was so thrilled I could lay down on that dang' exam table and was able to get back up myself!!!! Also had my mammo and she said that she could see so much more with my smaller boobs!!! Plus my whole boob fit on x-ray plate this time!!! Life is good....thanks again everyone....to hell with those pancakes!!!

    Beans Beans!!

Beans are a wonderful source of protein....another good "source" is your dietitian, not your husband!!!!! We do not have to diet per sec, we should be eating sensibly and healthy and enjoying life!!! Good luck....

    Hot Dogs R No Longer

O.K. sandwich lovers....I, too, miss holding a yummy sandwich in my hands...can't do the bread thing, BUT I found something even better: Flat Out Bread. OMG, I am in heaven! They are just like wrappers, but taste much better and are lower in calories. Plus they have fiber and protein, too. The original flat out bread is 140 calories per piece (it's big) and the light flat out bread is around 90 calories. They have several flavors too. I love them so much, I swear I could sell'em!!!! I found mine in the deli section of the grocery store. Enjoy!!!!

I just PB'ed and slimed on chicken, once again, this week....so, I taking it off my list of things to eat!!! Someone asked about fish....love it and goes down nicely...most seafood, but shrimp work for me. I plan on doing tons of fish this summer on the grill....great Protein source and low calorie!!!

Reaction to Chinese food!! - - Help!!

I love Chinese food....just love it, but not anymore!! It gets stuck every time I try it....been about 4 tries now and I am over it. I have tried all types of dishes, but no luck. The only thing I can get down is an eggroll which is not the best choice.

    I'm Back....

Hi everyone, I don't know if anyone has missed me, but I am back again....the last few weeks have been very stressful. It's a long story, but to make it short....my wonderful sister is married to a major a$#hole and things are really getting ugly. So I have been on the phone (she lives out of state) with her most of my days. I only had one day when I did some "stress" eating, but even though, I ate healthier (no pies, cakes, Cookies or gallons of ice cream)!!! I just ate too much of the good stuff....that's major progress!!! Anyway, I have missed all of you.....I am going to try to catch up on the threads.....
