Is anyone else having their surgery on this day? I go to my class tomorrow and also start the pre op diet tomorrow! I am so not looking forward to this part of it! I'm gonna be so hungry! Ugh!

Thanks everyone for your advice. I have taken it and am now below what I weighed when I went to the dr by 3 lbs. I go for my class on the 18th and start the pre op diet that day too. Stacie

Hello! I have a surgery date of March 3rd. I'm very worried because I gained 5 lbs since I seen the dr last. I see him again the 21st! I am so worried I won't lose it even though I'm trying. Ugh! I hate this! Wonder if I don't lose it if my surgery will be postponed? I'm so afraid of this. Stacie

My surgery is set for March 3rd 2014. I'm having a problem with not ever feeling full! Today has been terrible! Has anyone else been like this before being sleeved? If I'm hungry now, what's it gonna be like during the pre opt diet? Ugh! Stacie

I everyone! I'm so excited! My surgery date is March 3rd! I can't wait!! They had two other dates in February but my daughter is in a play at that time and we thought March 3rd would be better!

Just got home from my consult and I was approved to have the sleeve! I still have to see the pulmonologist tomorrow for clearance, and go to an all morning or afternoon workshop and then we can schedule surgery! It looks like it'll probably be somewhere around the first two weeks of March! I'm so excited! Stacie

Yay! It's finally here! I'm so excited for this appointment! I already got clearance from the cardiologist and I think the psychiatrist since I didn't hear back from her! All I have to do now is as far as drs go is meet with the pulmonologist which is tomorrow and then of course my appointment today. Then, there is a diet/excercise workshop I have to go to which I will find out more today. I'm hoping to get that done soon so we can schedule the surgery. I am so ready! Can anyone share with me what I should expect at the appointment today? I'm excited but also a little nervous! Thanks! Stacie

Hi Steph! Welcome! I'm Stacie! I haven't had my surgery yet! I don't have a date set either. I go for the consultation with the surgeon on the 15th which I am really excited about! You will love it here! How are you doing?

Well I have 2 doctors down! . I got the go ahead from the cardiologist. I'm not sure about the psychiatrist eval though! She said she would call me within a week if there is a problem and she can't clear me for surgery. She said if I don't hear from them that's a good thing. I hope I don't hear from them! What exactly are they looking for anyhow?

Thanks everyone for the responses! It looks like I'm gonna have to give it up then! . It is gonna be very hard for me especially since I don't like to drink water when I eat! I guess I will have to get use to it. I wish there were other choices at restaurants that are no calories besides water and diet pop. Oh well!

Hi! I am wondering, does anyone else drink soda after the sleeve? I'm not talking right away but eventually? I don't drink a whole lot of it now but I do like my occasional diet coke or coke zero. I usually drink this when we go out to dinner on fri and sat evenings.
