  1. Cutie Miss- I went through this on my 2 week preop diet. You are not physically hungry, you are head hungry. When this happened to me I just decided to ignore my brain. Your brain is a food addict and it is despartaly trying to get you to feed the addiction. Beat it, don't give in. I honestly think my 2 week preop diet had little to do with shinking my liver and a whole lot to do with me breaking up with food.

  2. The weight loss center that I am going through has their stuff together, I mean they plan EVERY last detail out and make their patients overly aware of everything. I am aware that I will need to be on a bariatric daily Multivitamin for the test of my life. All other nutritional needs should be meet by the food I consume, but yearly blood work is required.

I see it like this, I obsess over food now anyway- what am I you g to ear, when, where, how much, I plan vacations and weekends around all the good places I can pig out. So now I'll just trade my obsession in for a new one. I can sit here and worry all day about all the complications and long term effects of the sleeve or I can sit worry about when my first heartattack will be or how old my kids will be when I die or never being able to get on a rollercoaster with my son.

Worry about the sleeve, you know your brain is going to go there anyway. But also be extremly proud of yourself for taking control of your future.

I'm on day day 6 of 14 on the pre op diet and I thought about how final my decision is and had thoughts about not going through with it, I honestly think it was my fat girl brain crying out for one last chance. My gat girl brain lies..... a lot. I'm not listening to her anymore.

    You can do this!

  3. I am on day 3 of my 2 week pre op diet. I need help figuring out how I can combine items on my "able to eat list". So here it is.

    4 protien shakes- 2 milk, 2 Water

    V8

    Applesauce

    Yogurt

    pudding

    oatmeal

All the non-starchy raw or steamed veggies I want.

Then all clear, sugar and caffine free liquids.

Any kitchen magicians out there that can suggest different combinations or cooking methods that could get me through to my surgury date?

Any help would be appreciated, I am close to a breaking point.
