    Monthly Weight Loss Report

    Banded 9-14-07 Lost 23 pound so far and AS SO HAPPY ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 45 to go!! Walking 50 miles a week!!

    Gallbladder

    I am feeling great without my gall bladder! I had it done t the same time and was very glad. I had alot of stones in mine so I am assuming that is why they took it out after looking at it during the lap band procedure!!

    October Exercise Challenge!

    Name: ITSTIME Goal is to walk 4 times a week for but will be doing at least 12 walks in October for 30 minutes each!

    September 30, 2007

    Today I feel great and have for about 6 days, finally sleeping through the night and that dreaded gas is finally gone. All the stapls have been removed and feeling like a normal person. Am down 15 pounds for Spet. not bad considering I was banded on the 14th. My goal for Oct is also 15 pounds than for nov and dec I will reduce it to 10 pounds per month. I walked the dog this am and decided to dust off my bike! Went four miles but also feel off and landed on my side as I was tryng to change gears going up a huge hill. Not smart!! Only a scraped elbow and knee, hubby was afraid I hurt myself but am OK!!! Made a committment with all they other sept bandsters to exercise every day in Oct to see how much we cans shed!! Will keep you posted!!

    Hazel how are you doing on your weight loss since surgery? Just be careful and make sure you are fully healed before taking in alot of solids! Good Luck

  14. You will be ok hon. Just make sure you drink the water and all other fluid the water helps with they elesticity (sp) of your skin so you need to keep hydrated. As far as starving you will be amazed at how un hungry you become. I was a volume eater but not anymore since 9/14!!! Let us all know how your doing!

  17. Hi Class of September 2007 Just a quick note to let everyone know we have over 40 bandsters that are taking the big loser challenge for Oct!! WE ARE ALL AWESOME! Wait till everyone reads about what we accomplished in October!!!!!! Just image what you will look and feel likethis time next year!!!!! All healthy skinny minnies!!ha

    Well today I am feeling great. I never did take any pain med after the surgery and I am glad ofthat. Went back to work last week 1/2 days because was still tired alot. I actually go tomorrow at 11 am and get these 15-20 stales out adn will finally get to enjoy my swimming pool again. So far I am dowm 12 1/2 pounds and I feel great about that. I made a goal of 15 pound loss for sept and another 15 pound loss for october so anything above that will be awesome. Starting Oct I will start with the exercise program. I am getting full with awhole lot less food than ever before. My problem beofre was that I am not a junk food junkie just a volume eater and I know this band will realy work for me!!:whoo: Will keep you posted on my Dr. Visit tomorrow!! On full liquids ie cottage cheese, soups chicken spread, pudding ect!! PS Did sneak a glass of red wine!!

Dlew When you have the phych eval just basically tell them that you are doing this for your health, your excited about your new opportunity in life, and how you are tired of beingon countless diets and want to make a new journal entry in your journal and this is live and be healthy. Leave all the neg things out. That is what I said and is exactly how I feel. Hopethishelps let me know how you make out
  22. Had both gall bladder out and band placed and everything went great!!!! To bad you needed to have two separate surgerys!!!
