  1. My NUT said I could eat some soft fruit, just a little. I had 3 small cubes of watermelon...don't know if its because I ate too fast or the consistency but I felt like i couldn't breathe, like I needed to throw up but couldn't. It was NOT a good feeling at all. I just walked around the kitchen, felt like I kept swallowing and couldn't talk and that something was stuck in my chest. Ughh, it sucked.

  2. Sounds like you like B so have it. When I was at your stage I would ask for a second plate and pre portion what I would eat and have the rest wrapped to go. Remember to eat slowly and enjoy the company. food isn't the focus anymore. Put down your fork between bites. Eating out is fun and cheap - if you can find someone to share with. I often order off the kids menu (if they have healthy choices). Have fun and enjoy the process.

LOL, I put B and a parentheses and that face showed up...didn't mean to say I liked that best! lol

  3. I need help picking what to eat (luckily the menu is online and they serve Breakfast all day). I'm in the soft mechanical stage, so the stage right after puree...

Here are some options, what do you think? (I would skip stuff like english muffin, potatoes, corn, tortilla chips...but would eat the eggs, cheese, salsa, MAYBE a small bite of the veggies and chew thoroughly)

    A) Southwest Potato Frittata

Potato, Roasted Corn, Pepper & Onion, Black Beans Cooked into an Open omelet with Pepperjack Cheese on Top, served with a Side of Salsa. Sorry the Potatoes are in the Omelet.

    B) New Orleans Omelet

Peppers, Marinated Mushrooms and Pepperjack Cheese Make This a Favorite Omelet.

    C) California Eggs Benedict

Avocado and Tomato with 2 Poached Eggs and Hollandaise Sauce on an English Muffin.

    D) Texas Eggs

Eggs Scrambled with Salsa, Roasted Corn, Pepper, Onion, Black Beans, Cheddar Cheese and Tortilla chips Over Home Fries

    E) chicken Breast with a Mushroom Brie Glaze

Tender Chicken Breast draped in a Mushroom Brie Glaze.

    THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

  4. Thank you all so much, feel much better knowing there are others who understand. I love my husband but he isn't the best support in talking about this because he has no idea how the anxiety/rage/craziness feels! I started awhile ago on them when someone close in my family suddenly died. Was off of them for awhile when pregnant (twice) but after 2nd baby I needed to go back on...

Little one will be 1yr old in a few weeks! AHH!!! :)

  5. I don't know if it's because I stopped taking my anxiety meds (they're so big and cumbersome to break and take 3x a day (because it was ex release before which won't work now)...

but I have NO patience. When my toddler or baby are acting like little kids...(Normal)...I get so irritated and frustrated with them...like too quickly. Like a rage taking over me.

And same with how I've been with my husband. I am going NUTS at home not being able to drive just for this 1 week and the anxiety is out of control...

suck it up and start taking the meds 3x a day?

    Something else?

I'm 1 week post op today!

R they extended release? I take wellbuterin but mine aren't extended release so I can cut mine in 4ths. .if there xr u can't cut..call ur pharmacy to make sure. I am 2 wks post an I can swallow it whole now..but I take 3 of them thru out the day supposed to..I might get 2 in...did u go thru ur med list before surgery an see wat was available in liquid or able to break? U realy need to take them...hope u feel better soon..

Yes I mentioned above they're ex release but now I have the regular 3x/day pills instead which are cuttable (my husband is a pharm)...

Going to cut them tonight, at least some and start doing 1 at night and 1 in morning...I can't even imagine me remembering to take one mid-day too. I am so bad with that stuff.
