    Oh my goodness sweetheart that does not sound fun .....I'm so so sorry ......it sounds like you might have some type of infection possibly ....if they recommend that you go to the ER please go in ....please get checked .....good luck.... Shelby

    Non-NSAIDs Pain Relievers

    I was cleared before surgery to use ibuprofen.... I use it for sever cramps and insofar have no problems....but my surgeon approved this for me and worked with my obygn....tramadol did nothing fir my pain. Shel
  3. My doctor also do not believe there is a a limitation to how much protein your body can absorb....he has said repeatedly that if you consume Protein, your body absorbs just as its given... Shel
  4. Make sure that your not masking a UTI...bladder infection....it could be your kidneys....a call your medical team might be in order, just to rule it out. Good luck, Shel

    Day 10 barfing

    Please make sure you are making every effort to get fluids...... being sick you cannot get fluids in....please call your medical team to make sure you are hydrated...you need to have fluids....dehydration causes vomiting....you should not be having this much trouble from just the surgery...please call your team....its sounds miserable.     The best way to get your liquid is to continue to sip, sip, sip.... Body is still healing from major surgery..... Using my fitness pal to track intake to help work to achieve those goals..... It took me a long time to learn that my new tummy only liked warm beverages....that helped me get to my goals.... Good luck! Shel
  8. I'm sorry that happened....did you start *slimming?* hopefully you can try this again once your tummy heals a little more. Could have been too much with the cracker and the Protein and spreadable cheese. Good Luck, Shel
  9. Almost 6 months here also....right now I'm loving 'Old Wisconsin' turkey sticks/bite. So delish and low in fat but decent Protein :-) huge flavor! Shel
  10. A noble achievement finally!!!!!! I really wanted to lose at least 70lbs to convince my little brain that it has all been worth it. Today makes it official! I'm compiling a list of things I learned on this continuous journey and I will post it for the newbies any baby tummies that are just coming along. I appreciated all the support I received here and think it might be helpful to really let people know how different each journey is. 70 lbs down...15 more to first goal. Height: 5'8 Frame: petite bone structure My stats: Pre Surgery Wt: 236 ...very stable....sometimes jumped to 244, but 99% of the time I stayed at 235lbs. BMI: 35 A1c: 10.9 Size 18/20 Smile size: extra small Today Stats: Wt: 165lbs BMI: 25 A1c: 5.2 Size 9/10 Smile size: EXTRA LARGE :-) Sheldon & Felipe the Sleeve

    I still chew chewables and at 5 months out im just starting to feel comfortable swallowing pills whole...I had a terrifying experience 4 weeks out when I was told it was safe to take whole pills. ..Ever since I have been extremely careful and will probably always be a nervous ninny anout it... I'm glad you felt comfortable enough to reach out to us share with us what your struggles are ......look to us for support......we have all been there and although it sounds like we're judging you we are not.....we are trying to protect you protect you from damaging your sleeve....hurting your goals and more importantly we want to support you in your journey..... thank you for sharing...you will never be alone in this.   22. 5.2..........I am so freakin happy....now its all worth it!!!!! I will NEVER go back! I know its an over-share, but I have been touched by an angel....so happy to be one of the lucky ones to eradicate this horrible disease...got it as gestational diabetes when preggers with my twins....my love of sugar did not help...now its GONE....i will keep it that way. ****Yes Felipe you can stay and unpack your bags now*** Shelby - type 2....     Diabetes GONE! A1c is.........

    Slow and steady wins the race.....congratulations on reducing your diabetes medications and for a huge loss of 60 pounds....that is wonderful! Even if you were unable to eradicate the disease entirely, you have improved your health, your lifespan and improved the lives of all the people who love you and need you to be here.....this IS truly a MIRACLE!
