  1. I'm in IL. Had my surgery done in Springfield.
  2. Welcome Jessy. I had the sleeved one on 2-10. Sounds like you are doing great.
  3. I bought Litehouse Sesame Ginger marinade. It was like finally eating real food.

  5. Today I put boneless,skinless chicken breast in the crock pot. I seasoned them and put a ginger marinade on them. They were delicious. So tender you could cut it with a fork.
  6. I eat three wheat thins with almost everything I eat.
  7. I just broiled the fish. I have had cod, salmon and tilapia. It was wonderful to have real food. For the chicken and tuna salad I used canned. I mixed it with light miracle whip, mustard and seasoning.
  8. I can also have chicken and tuna salad.
  9. I can eat chicken, fish scrambled eggs without pureeing them. If I have something like Wendy's chili I have to purée it. I'm four weeks post op.
  10. I have to bring my cpap machine to the hospital? Yes you need to bring it. The dr want you to use it even if you are just napping.
  11. I'm three weeks out and having a terrible time with my vitamins and calcium. My vitamins make me puke and there is no way the calcium will stay down. I'm thinking about trying Tums for the calcium. I'm going to call the NUT on Monday. I know how important these are but I just can't get them down.

  15. I am seven days out and I have bruising too! I don't have any other symptoms and no pain so I think I am fine. I see surgeon tomorrow for first po.
  16. I had surgery on the 10th. Everything went great but I can't take my vitamins or calcium. They make me puke. Has anyone had this problem?
  17. I had my surgery on Monday 2/10. Everything is going great. I am not in pain and am able to get my liquids down. My only problem is the vitamins and calcium. I can't get them down without throwing up. I gave up on the calcium and just try to get one vitamin in a day. I know these are important but I don't want to throw up. Anyone else have problems?
