We could always set one up ourselves. Pick a place and a time and see how many people show up. Cause if we wait for someone else to well be waiting awhile. I stay out in spring myself, off 1960 and 45

<p>_{I in in Humble, TX and was banded Nov 14. I lost 15lbs post op and 5 before first fill- I went for my 2nd fill today and have gained 3lbs. No, I have not been very good about measuring and suddenly I have a sweet tooth I never had before. Knowing I gained after I spent all this cash is sobering so Im really going to start trying. I really have not been a good bandster, eating up a phase too soon and things as that. I even drank 1/2 a cherry coke. Obviously I am heading for trouble before my band even gets to work. Im starting to think I need to see a therapist to learn some tools to quit self-sabotaging. I AM however starting to eat before I get full and am noticing I can go 4 -5 hours between meals ok. I just want to eat chips and salsa and ch}</p>

Well welcome to the WLS club. ????. I had my bad days too. When I found this app/site it helped with almost all my problems/issues/questions I had. Yea you can't lose hope, have to fight. Gotta admit it was hard for me in the beginning as well. Everyone reacts different to this. I'll try and help with questions u may have. Theirs a lot of people on here that may have a different answer so just ask around as well. People on here are so nice and don't mind answering questions.

Yea I get the same thing. It's either by email, Facebook, or by using your contacts from ur phone. I don't know how to add friends on MFP

What are your rules after fills? I had My first one and I'm kind of mad....lol. My doc said 7 days of clear liquids. I just feel beat down. I paid all this money to help with hunger control and restriction and I feel as if I have been starving 3 weeks out of the 6 I have been doing this Trying to stay motivated and positive, but hunger is taking over and making me miserable. I needed to vent....cheer me up

Wow 7 days that's too long. It should only be two days of clear liquids, the next day soft foods and the fourth day back to your normal diet. Do what you feel you need to do. If your hungry start off slow of course with soft foods then progress. Hope you get through it. Good luck.

Thanks Meli... it went great.... I am so much more at ease about my progress ... Nurse Connie is the best... everything that I had anxiety about or paranoid about was shot down by her with facts and education... I am so relieved... I am going back on Jan 29th

Oh your welcome. Glad everything went well. Their all good there, but yea I agree nurse Connie is the best. Pretty soon they'll have us there on the same day. lol. Not sure about the same though. But you never know.
