    I would go with whatever your doctor recommends... If he/she didn't give you a calorie goal try asking them but until then if you have no other idea of what to shoot for I see people just out shooting for 500-800 and then later 800-1000 but I don't typically find people post op consuming over 1100... I am still pre op and I eat 1200 a day, the 600-800 is what my doctor recommended for me immediately post op

    I am so torn. I live in Portland and have always been a broncos fan since I went to my first bronco game when i was 10, I've also been to Seahawk games and i always root for them because they are the closest thing I have to a home team. Now what!? Lol

    I have been making a lot of lifestyle changes over the past three months and in that time I've lost 34 lbs, I haven't started my pre op diet yet but I am eating very clean and exercising regular. I'm an anxiety basket, I have been worrying about everything lately. I'm beginning to think it's all the stress and emotions of my upcoming major surgery. Today is a much better day.     My doc told me i couldn't ever have alcohol again and that I couldn't even cook with it. Doesn't effect me though because I don't ever do either of the two.

  12. Hello, so I am pre op and drink a premier protein shake in the morning, yesterday it gave me a migraine and today I threw up what looked like the entire shake, projectile style. Has anyone else experienced this with protein shakes? I've been drinking them for a few weeks but haven't had a problem until the last two days...

    Wow I'm so sorry you had to go through all of this! My heart breaks for you! Was this an open surgery or laparoscopic? I may have missed that info but was just curious... I mean either way their behavior was inexcusable i was just curious. How are you doing now?

    If I'm working out alone I go to the gym between 2-3pm if I'm working out with my fiancé we go about 430-530 before dinner

    So discouraged.

    I know how hard it can be to stay positive in times like those... I hit a plateau in my loss and I increased my exercise and water intake, the scale moved shortly after that. My NUT told me it would have moved anyway regardless of the changes I made, she said sometimes our bodies are stubborn and we just have to wait it out. Try not to be discouraged and don't sabotage all the hard work you have done! Resist temptation and rise above, you are beautiful.

  22. Well unless I had a 24 hour something something i feel great today and I didn't have a protein shake.... I'm reconsidering it may have been the shake.. I'm going to try some different shakes thanks for the suggestions!
