We are getting closer and closer. I have my final pre-op appt tomorrow. Then Monday our big day. So excited!!!dde03 I see my surgeon again tomorrow to weigh in an sign some paperwork. Will be cleaning and doing laundry and washing my bedding this weekend. Maybe a little more shopping. I wanted to get a heating pad for multiple reasons and still need to get gas x strips ad milk of magnesia

On day 10 of my liquid diet! Surgery is Monday... So excited! First 2 days of liquid were hard day 3 on was downhill from there. Im on a full liquid I don't get one meal a day 4 boost shakes and water.

Sorry you are uncomfortable. My doctor also said no vitamins for 2-4 weeks until I was cleared. Maybe ask what yours recommends?

I really hope you can get it cleared up and find some relief Christi! I am a kidney stone sufferer myself so I know how inconvenient and painful the frequent urge to urinate can be. While I was on antibiotics for a uti and while passing a stone I took the OTC Extra strength AZO in addition to my antibiotics and it definitely helped keep me comfortable more than anything.

I agree but to say I would never use a doctor at ohsu isn't exactly necessary when speaking of your confidence in your own surgeon. Especially since so many here have used a surgeon at ohsu and are happy with them. It's ok to be confident with your surgeon and team I just don't see the need to belittle anyone else's. Just because they are "less expensive" doesn't mean they are inadequate at performing the same procedure. The same goes for being more expensive.. Doesn't necessarily mean they are any better.

That seemed a little snarky since people on here were talking about having their surgeries at ohsu.... I am glad you are happy with your surgeon and results but that doesn't make theirs any less adequate.

Interesting foods to dream cheat with! You may want to try my dream hot fudge sundae instead. Lol no kidding, your food dream sounds much more exciting!!! But it was really interesting to me because I am a vegetarian so I don't eat fish but I keep saying I am going to add it back into my diet.
