I had mine done several years ago, had to take them out when I got prego because holy crap you even tap those things and OWWW!!! At least that's how mine were for 3 months before I gave up. Waiting till after a boob job to do them again, it would SO not be attractive right now!
I also took mine out when I was prego. But few months later they went right back ib

I have cdphp and they approved both surgeries super fast. Not only that but they then called me afterwards to follow up on my care and see if there was anything they can do. Amazing!
They were amazing

Hi everyone, did anyone have a really hard time getting approved by the insurance?
I have cdphp and it was quick

I have learned in 1 case there was a sponge left inside someone, another case leaking real bad, another case no drain tube and stomach got a real bad infection bcuz of the Fluid, and a couple of other cases just infections from deity tools used for surgery, so it's not that low to me? But good luck whoever gets it done their
There r cases but with the 100's of ppl I have met there has been maybe 1% with issues but they can happen anywhere for a number of reasons.

Yes self pay, but when something goes wrong they r in the states looking stupid. Bcuz if the doctors in the states have to fix anything you r charged the same money as if you would have got the surgery done here in the states?
If something goes wrong yes I'm sure the drs will charge you based on what went wrong. But the percentage of things that goes wrong are very low

This is prob a dumb question and I really hope no one offended but...why are so many people going to Mexico for their surgery? Is it because insurance won't cover? Cause of BMI? Privacy?
I thinks it's mostly self pay ppl. It's less expensive then staying in states. Self pay ppl either don't have Ins or their ins doesn't/won't cover the surg

Hi, I'm new to the forum. Been going through the process for a really long time but it is starting to look like I may get a date soon. Who here has had Dr. Trivedi? Does anyone know if he will do a hysterectomy at the same time as a sleeve?
I am 3 months post op with trivedi. No issues I am in love with my sleeve. Not sure about the another part. Just ask he's really nice

I am 10 weeks post op. 40 lbs since surg. Nothing was req pre op I did loose 5 lbs from Xmas to jan 7th. Love my sleeve. Try cutting out a carb each day because once u have surg they will be a no no. Lots of chicken n fish. I changed my diet two weeks before surg to get used to it. Also did a liquid week to prepare myself. Give up all sugar n caffein. Do u have a date?

I am freaking out a bit. I was supposed to lose 10lbs, I have a couple of more weeks until I see Dr. Lemanski and I've stayed the SAME so far! I thought for sure 10lbs wouldn't be too hard to do since I have so much to lose but apparently I'm not trying hard enough. I've only gone to him once and don't want to delay surgery so I better hit 10lbs before my appt. Any advice?
What r u doing? What have u changed from before?

Thinking about a safe surgery for you and a great recovery

Jennie, are you out of ST Pete's yet? How do you know if you're dehydrated? Was it BC of the stomach thing?
Yes I am. Ugh it was awful. I was throwing up so much that my stomach was killing me I started to get very light headed. I fought with then not to admit me so after 4 bags they let me go but dr made me promise that if I got sick even once I had to go back. I have been good. Not eating much but drinking plenty. Now my poor lil boy 3 years old has it. I feel awful for him. dr said I would have never recovered on my own. I would have slowly gotten worse even if I was drinking it wouldn't have been fast enough I'm lucky I went. I hate hospitals lol. Thanks for checking in!!!

I was sleeved January 22nd. It has been a pretty good month so far. I am down a total of 28 lbs all together. I have lost 13 since surgery. The past few days have been good. I did have a couple of weeks that didn't lose but gained. But this week I have lost 4 lbs so far.
You look great keep up the good work

It's a preference I love tattoos and piercings. As long as they can be hidden. When needed.
