  1. How much have lost since surgery? What are you eating? Are you posting on post-op forum now? If you are so I can look for you I don't want to be asking you what you already post it or same questions others have asked you! :0)

I'm down 17.5 since surgery and 43.6 total since I started this whole process. I'm on the soft food diet right now so I've been eating egg whites for Breakfast, tuna or Soup for lunch and a Protein shake for dinner and sometimes another shake as a snack throughout the day. And I'm drinking a lot of Water. I've mostly been posting in this thread and one called pre op diet. Haven't really done much in the post-op yet

  2. Good to know! Thank you! Surgery on Thursday and dr says I should be able to go back to work Monday (desk job)...from your personal experience how realistic is that?

I would definitely think that's way too soon to go back to work. I wouldn't have gone back after only 4 days. My Dr gave me 3 weeks off

  3. My soft diet paperwork says creamy Peanut Butter is allowed. It also says I can start ground meats or thin deli meats so I tried to eat a couple slices of shaved turkey... Not even 5 mins later I threw up and now my stomach is killing me! So ..... I can't do that just yet.

Ok good to know!! Thanks!! That sucks that it didn't agree with you. I had a little turkey the other day and it didn't bother me thankfully.

  4. Believe it or not, the stages go by pretty quickly...stage 3 is kinda interesting, but just don't do like I did...since this is the closest you've been to 'real food' in a while, you may tend to want to eat faster, like in your pre-op days....please remember to take it slow, and listen to your body! For the first time, you're gonna know what 'full' feels like!

As for us all hanging out one day...that really would be cool!!! We really should do this!! Just no buffets!!

Yeah that's something I'm definitely gonna have to watch for. I used to tend to eat very fast so I'm gonna have to watch myself!

I'm definitely interested in all of us getting together!!

  5. That's awesome!! I'm feeling pretty good too! My incisions don't really hurt much but they are ridiculously itchy. I just wanna scratch the hell out of them!! I'm actually gonna have done mashed potatoes tomorrow when we go out to Rainforest Cafe for my nieces birthday. Not many other options!! I can't wait for meat!!! I feel like a savage!!

  6. Today I had a French onion Soup from long horn without the cheese. I ate a little bit of the bread(it was very soft) that was in it and some of the onions and I didn't have a problem. That's the closest to non liquids I've had. I have my first post-op follow up appoint. I'm gonna see what my Dr says and see if maybe I can start some mashed potatoes this week or something. We'll see
