My sleeve story! Ups and Downs.
It takes time, just keep sipping. I had mine on 12/11 so I understand. It does get better, I have to continue to remind myself that I can't gulp water anymore. So I put it in front of me and keep sipping every 15 minutes or so. Hang in there.

RJ your are truly an amazing person and I too am very thankful that you have been kind enough to share your story. I pray that 2014 will be full of many blessings and healing. I did have some regrets after surgery just because I was overwhelmed with pain and not being able to take in fluids & oh and lets not forget about the gas pains. However, since I have been reading post on this forum I feel much better and thankful to have you all as pals :)

Do you work for your weight loss or do the pounds just fall off?
I believe in working out! I am 3 weeks out and I am working out to loose and to not have a flabby body. I want to have as little flabby skin as possible.

Spasms?
I had lots of waves of pain/cramping.....I think some of it was gas and I took gas X a lot at first. It took about 4-5 days for it to stop for me. Hang in there it does get better.

Looking good- please send the weight loss fairy my way
Hang in there, we all are going to have our up and down days. But I have decided that if I am gone eat Cookies "Oh and yes I love cookies" then I got to put in the time at the gym. I still can't each much but I find that cookies just melt in my mouth , so in return I have to burn it off on the treadmill! You got this!- pissed off @ myself :[
Oh sweetie hang in there, I felt the same way for the first week. I am getting better day by day. I am almost 3 weeks out and it does get better. In box me your number if you want to talk.- Do you think we are more vain or average?
Well said Jerygurl, that was such as powerful statement, you are truly an inspiration. We have to learn to be thankful for where we are and what we have been blessed with. There are so many people that want to have WLS but can't for various reasons including no/denial of insurance and no funds to pay out of pocket.- Do you think we are more vain or average?
Worry about things you can change and not so much about what you can not! Focus on the new you.....scars will fade over time and loose skin, well exercise and strength training might help with some of the loose skin.- Holy Restriction!
Wow, I hear lots of folks talk about chicken being hard to take in, I haven't had chicken yet, I still have some weeks before I can have chicken. I hope you put it up for later...and for the next time....wow we ought to be saving money :P- I kinda lost it...
Hang in there, its truly a process but your persistence will prevail!- Before & After Pics...
Congrats, you look great!- Social Events
I agree with the above post, you don't owe other people an explanation about why your not eating. If you have to respond then as fluffnomore stated......I'm not hungry/I am trying to cut back.....etc- New to the forums!
Congrats Jessica, glad you are feeling good! Welcome!- A Letter to Filepe (My Sleeve)
Beautiful letter and loved the name you gave your new tummy!- My Mexico Story with the Sleeve
I am glad to hear that you are home and healing just fine. Thanks for sharing your story.- Is my FEAR founded?
Yes it makes sense, I was sleeved 12/11/13. The scale has not moved in a week. I am just trying to keep up my protein and fluids. Going to start exercising soon. This forum has truly been a blessing to me so keep doing what you doing and posting for support. - 6 Week Post OP Before & After Pics
