  1. Hang in there, I am struggling to get my fluids in as well. I am having to regroup and drink Gatorade G2 and vitamin water. The vitamin water has made me feel so much better. Sip sip sip....best to you!
  2. Yes please call your doctor or go to the ER
  3. Try to have a small drink of water every hour. Every time I notice the time I take a sip of water. Another thing you can do it drink from a bottle of water and set a goal to drink a certain number of bottle water a day, that way you keep up with how much you are taking in. Best to you!
  4. Thank you for your compassionate story, I needed to hear it being that I am newly sleeved,18 days post op. I know that it will be a on going struggle and I am taking it one day at a time. Congrats to you on reaching your goal!
  5. Thanks for sharing you guys....I pray that your body heals as it suppose too.
  6. Try to keep busy. I am 14 days post op and I feel like because I cant have those things it seems like every commercial is food....I will be glad when the holidays past and I can focus on my weight and not what I want to eat that I know I can not have. Hang in there, we got this.
  7. Good job, hang in there, I am right at 2 weeks out and struggling to get my protein and water in everyday. So far my weight loss is slow but I haven't started to exercise because I haven't been able to get in all of my fluids and I don't want to be dehydrated. Keep it going, and I know it will happen before you know it!
  8. Please call your doctor, it could be a leak. I hate to even think about a leak being just 7 days out but I am working hard to be extra careful about vomiting and over consuming. Please take care of yourself.
  9. Today is my 7th day since surgery. I have gone through an array of emotions from being angry with myself for doing this to questioning myself constantly. But today I found out one of my past supervisors died of a heart attack at age 35......yeah kinda puts things back in perspective. Hang in there and focus on the goal and feeling better. Rest, protein and prayers.....that is where I am in this process. I can not allow food to continue to control my life.
  10. Thanks for sharing, I think just smelling food I can't have right now bothers me or should I say my taste buds. I am very thankful to have had this procedure but I am overwhelmed with mixed feelings during this holiday time. But hey, I will see many more and will be able to enjoy it without pigging out!
  11. That looks good, I am 6 days out but still on liquids til next Wednesday....ready to start taking small bite for sure
  12. Thanks for sharing, you are a picture of hope.....I am 5 days out and starting to feel better but still struggling.
  13. Thanks TonyaMac, I had my surgery on Wednesday and it has been a rough few days. The first day out I was anger with myself because I was miserable and in pain. Today is much better. I am in a little pain but bearable and I am able to hold down my protein and water. I am hanging in there and know that better days are to come........thanks to everyone for the continue support and encouraging words
