  1. Mamato2 I was sleeved Nov. 25, my first stall was about 1 1/2-2 weeks, after that stall for about 2 weeks my weight loss was slower than usually and then started loosing almost a lb a day for awhile.
  2. I am on my second stall, have not lost a pound in a week. Ready for the weight to start coming off again.
  3. I did the same think....all the test....and it was severe heartburn like I had never experienced before.
  4. I was 5 weeks out and went slow the first time. I am now approx 10 weeks out and have gone out for drinks about 4x total. I have decided to stick with vodka/water with an occasional shot of tequila in there. I have had no issues and my tolerance has been somewhat impacted. Take it slow and see how your body handles it. I always have a Powerade Zero waiting at home or in my purse because it can take up to 2 days for me to feel fully hydrated if I do not stay on top of during my drinks and the day after.
  5. Wooooooooohooooooooooooo! Nice work!
  6. I have only told a handful of people...mostly family. When people ask me what I am doing I way healthy choices, small portions, and high protein. It is my dirty little secret....
  7. My husband as well isn't obese but could stand to loose a few lbs and needs to watch his cholesterol. He told my mom the other week he was so nervous that is would drastically change everything in our life. However, he has been nothing but supportive...he has lost 15-20lbs with me...but occasionally falls of the wagon. I am so grateful he has been doing such a strong force for me.
  8. Mumoftwo.....with my 2 week pre-surgery diet I am at a total loss of 53 lbs. I lost most of my weight post up in the first 2-3 weeks, I hit a stall and now loose about .5 lb a day or 2.5-3 lbs a week. Everyone loosed different good luck!
  9. Not doing it sooner. Not giving people who did it before the credit they deserved for making such a lifestyle change. I am only 8 weeks out and soooo happy. My hubby admitted to my family he was really worried on how it would effect our house dynamic. He told !y mom it has been the best thing that could happen cause he has lost weight, we can still do or normal meals just modified, and I am happier with myself.
  10. Well yay....8 weeks and almost at my half way point of weight loss. Yay! Put on a pair of jeans I haven't worn in 2 years today.
  11. I asked my NUT the same thing, they said no you don't have to when drinking liquids.
  12. I think by you forgiving him once, gaining back your trust in him......I think he has proven he is not worthy of being trusting. I don't agree with cheating but I also don't agree with just letting a marriage end without trying. I think you were a very strong women for sticking by him after the first time but you should not have to deal with the games he is now beginning to play with you. Go and find a man who loves you for you and not your "new" body....someone who has never made you question their loyalty.
  13. I have had mine for a year now....no weight issues just more migraines.
  14. Every 10 lbs I go through my closet. I can't wait until I can get into my jeans a certain jacket I refused to get ride of.
  15. Thanks everyone, wow was just having a rough day and needed to vent. I know a loss is a loss. Hoping for a better day tomorrow.
  16. So I am so sick of this slow weight loss. I am 8 weeks ouut and since my stall at 4 weeks I am only loosing a LB a week. Following all the guidelines and working out. What is the point?
  17. I love Water, but if I need a change I add cucumber, orange, mint, etc to it. I do also drink Powerade zero.
  18. I made pizza bubble cake...a.k.a biscuits filled with pepperoni and mozzarella, dipped in italian butter, and sprinkled with parmersan for the my company to watch the football games. I ate one and 1/2 of them.........and boy did I pay for it. Ending up having to take a 45 min walk to digest it and felt so horrible. It is official that is a recipe I will never have again.
  19. I got mine thru work for free. Love it! I am doing a 4 week challenge to get 6000 steps a day at work right now. Love it!
  20. Nice I can't wait to be below 200, I was stuck at 225 forever (2 weeks) my scale is finally moving again :-) Keep up the hard work.
  21. The Healthy Choice Greek Frozen yogurt is my favorite :-)
  22. I would stay off the scale for a few weeks.
  23. I have been stressed...and I have stalled horribly. I in 2 weeks I fave lost 2 lbs very slowly.
  24. I didn't..........I think I had my first cocktails (s) around 5 weeks actually. Many are different and I think the main reason they say not to drink is because some replace food with alcohol. I could be wrong who knows. Once I was no longer tender or sore when moving I was comfortable with drinking a few with friends for a Christmas Party. However, make sure you do not try to overdo it and dance like a mad women or anything. For me the reason I didn't drink sooner was so I didn't get clumsy. Good luck..
