1. You are still healing. Restriction will come at anout six weeks. Try to eat a little faster and cut it off at 30 minutes. I am three months out and I definaty feel the restriction of a tiny tummy. Sounds like you are on the right path. Continue doing as your doctor ordered and keep losing. I am now 15 pounds from the doctors goal I want to really lose 20-30 pounds more. Good luck. Sounds like everything is going great

  2. I live in the Oklahoma City , Oklahoma area, is there anyone on here that is interested , I have lots of good clothes sizes 2x shirts and blouses and 18 to 20 in pants.. Just message me or let me know.. Thanks

I don't need any clothes but I am also in OKC. Where are you located and how long are you post op? I am in the Northwest part of the city and had my surgery on January 29th. I have only lost 33 pounds but I am happy with that. Please message me back. I really want a buddy.

  3. I'm getting close to my 64oz goal. I hover around 50-60 oz.

I understand. I am 6 weeks out and fighting hunger all the time. I get about 50-60 oz of Water too. Take Zantac and Prilosec so I don't think it is acid. Don't know what to do. Help!

  4.
It was uncomfortable for 3-4 days with pants at my navel incision, but I just folded the pants down under a long shirt when I was sitting. Maybe you can manage this if you will be sitting. Unless you wear dresses, which I do not. Good luck! The soreness will not last long.

Does any body need some size 12P pants or a couple of suits? I have some to give away for postage. Email me at joy.raley@gmail.com.

  5. I am four weeks out and still having problems going to have a bowel movement. It usually feels like I am trying to pass a rock. Lol. Can any body help? I am taking MOM and it works but I am afraid I will become dependent on it. What should I be eating?

  6. Congratulations everyone of us 60 and up. I am 65 and was sleeved January 29th. I only have about 50 lbs to lose and am happy to be on the losing track. I have lost 16 lbs since surgery and I already feel better about my health. Blood pressure is at its lowest level since I started taking meds. Think I will be free of some of my meds really soon.

I think we are a powerful force in this world even in our 60s. Don't know about y'all but I plan on living the healthy life into my 100s! Powered to the silver foxes (us)!

  7. Hi everyone! I am having surgery on the 29th in California! I'm nervous and excited! Any tips for a Mom of 3... :)

Don't have any great advise but I know how you feel. My surgery is the 29th also her in Oklahoma. Both excited but also nervous like crazy. Are you on the liquid diet yet? I start it tomorrow. That makes me nervous too. Well good luck to both of us. I know we will do great. I admire you for taking this on with three children. I hope you have a great support system. I have three dogs and a wonderfully supportive husband.

  8. I would like to participate, but I have a couple of questions. Is this email exchange oriented towards bypass folks or sleevers? Or does it not matter? Also, what would be some appropriate items to put in a box? I suppose Snacks are out of the question, LOL! :)

Good questions!! This is for anyone that is looking for support. You can send anything that you have found helpful in your journey, Snacks, journals, clothes, books, shakes anything! If you would like the program rules send me an email at tashapettit@gmail.com and I'll get them sent out to you. ;)

Tasha. Would you send me the rules. I did email you but got no response. It must have gone to never never land. Lol. My email is joy.raley@gmail.com. Thanks. I am anxious to be a part of this.
