I'm 35, 5'4 and my SW was 254. I am 3 months out and down 50 lbs.. 40 from surgery and 10 from my pre op. I'm 204 now and want to get down to 140

Hey DaddyMarie! I'm struggling, I'm at 235! Down 36 pounds! I'm still baffled over everyone else success! I'm not going to get discouraged though and keep my eyes on onederland! What's up with you???

Hey girl. I'm in the same boat. I am down 45 lbs (35 of that since my surgery day) boo!!!!! I started at 253 and I'm 209 right now....

May 7th here and 42 lbs down!

Is the 66 lbs from your date of surgery or do you count in your pre op diet weight loss?

Thanks DaddyMarie !! The 66 lbs are from date of surgery. My surgeon didn't require a pre-op diet. Just the 24hours before surgery straight Clear Liquids.< /p>

Well it's slow going..... I'm down 37 lbs and that includes my preop diet. 28 since surgery and 37 all together.... Jeeze sounds pathetic when I look at it that way....

Well you are doing awesome, I'm trying to catch up, I need to revamp what I've been consuming. .I'm about to do chicken breast and broccoli, oh and fish!

When you can put your wedding ring back on! I have not worn my ring in many years cuz I was too heavy and refused to resize the ring. I was always going to lose weight! Well finally I have. Put it on for the first time today! Sooooooo happy.

<p>I haven't been sleeved, yet. I am just beginning my journey. I have my surgeon consult on 6/30 and I will start my 3 month weight management the same day. I just have to weigh my exact weight on the day on consult to qualify as 40+ bmi, so that my insurance will cover the surgery. Anyway, I also have RA, Lupus, Sjorens, and antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. Right now, I'm just on Imuran for the lupus/RA/Sjogrens and I'm on eliquis for the ASP. all autoimmune. The lupus/ RA have played a major part in my not-so-active lifestyle. I am a special needs Mama, and honestly, after I've taken care of him, I'm just give out. I know that lupus/ra etc, won't be cured by the weight loss from surgery. I just hope that by losing the weight, I've done everything I can do to not add to the risks I face from these diseases. My special needs son is going to need his Mama for many many more years. My mother passed away the day after her 48th birthday. I was 24. I don't want the same story ending.</p>

I am sorry to hear about your Momma. what did she die from?

I am 6 weeks out and down 23 since surgery of May 7th. 32 from the start of my preop. I started at 253 and weigh 221 today!

It's been challenging and rewarding and easier than I thought so far.
