My advise is don't worry about it. you are going to loose the weight. use the time after surgery to break any food addictions you may have, so don't push resuming your comfort foods. In my case I lost all interest in food. Remember its not a numbers game Its a new life thing. I am 11 months out and lost 255 pounds coming from 511. Good Luck
