As far as my pre op diet, I have to start on 5/31 10 days of 5 shakes made with skim milk and Carnation no sugar added Breakfast drinks, I can have sugar free Jello, and popsicles, broth, and also 200-300 calories of fruits and veggies, they gave me a list with serving sizes and calories. He seems to be more light on the diet than some docs.

I am so ready to start my new life.

  13. So i got my official letter on Saturday, and i sent it over to the dr's office so that they could confirm my June 9th date, they emailed me to confirm, and then she emails me and asks if I am getting a sleeve or a lap band. I tell her the sleeve that is what the dr and i decided on. apparently the insurance girl at the office didn't get informed that the dr and i had decided against the band, and she submitted for the band instead of the sleeve, now I have to hope and pray that the insurance approves my sleeve soon or I am going to lose my date.
