  4. This is another reason I'm super stoked about the program I chose, you get a 60 day membership for you and a support person at a gym for free and it includes some personal training sessions. And you have a year to use it.
  5. I'm 5 days out and I can't tolerate jello yet, it just does not sit well going to wait a couple more days and try again
  6. Our nut told us once we are eating meals. 20 min. No longer. Every 3 hours. So I have a set schedule when I get there.
  7. I'm 5 days out and still sleeping in my.recliner mainly because I toss and turn badly when I sleep, and pain medicine gives me bad dreams so I'm nervous about landing on my drain or something wrong. Once the drain is out I.will probably go back to my.bed
  8. I'm walking around my block then I need a nap so I get it. We are not to far from each other, I live a little more than an hour northwest of Chicago
  9. I'm 5 days out and I totally feel you, I know I'm getting enough liquid, but the jello is a no go so far, my.sleeve. does not like it. So I'm sticking with water broth popsicles and isopure drinks.
  10. I have the same pain, when I walk it gets better so I'm thinking it's gas buildup

  14. That makes me feel a little better I'm not the only one. I'm up to walks 2 or 3 times a day around the block
  15. I force myself to get up move around go for walks. Sip my water, but I could seriously sleep non stop. I'm 4 days post op, and I'm hardly using the pain meds so it's not that, I might take one time a day if that. How long. Did you feel this way?

  17. If I could just get these pesky gas pains to go away, I'd be feeling so much better, walk walk walk...
  18. I'm sorry you're having trouble, I got it off the hospital today, I'm sore but so far keeping things down.
  19. Im doing awesome, not a lot of nausea. Ive been walking the hospital halls several times. Oddly enough, i havent had gas pain. I've actually lost another 2lbs sihce surgery.
  20. That my dr was pretty fast with only a day or 2
  21. It took 2 weeks for my psych eval to get to my dr don't get discouraged :-)
  22. I've can't wait to start my new life, I know in the beginning it will be a struggle, but it will be worth it in the end. I want to be the person I know is inside me, to have the outside match the inside. So today @2:45 that new life starts. I am very blessed to have a huge support system, from people offering to clean do yard work till I can lift to the boys at work who are going to do any lifting, to all the offers I've had for walking partners. It absolutely amazes me how loved I am, how much they care. And how proud they are. Not one person in my life tried to talk me out of this decision.
