I just wanted to say congratulations! I'm newer on here, but wanted to comment on the "advanced maternal age." I'm almost 37 and so many of my friends are either pregnant or just had a baby. I wouldn't let that bother you. You are much healthier now after losing weight. Just listen to your docs and your body. Try not to worry too much and enjoy your pregnancy! You will do great! Congrats again!

I'd do as others suggested. If it's necessary to see your primary I'd be upfront and honest. If you don't need to see your primary, then go with the surgeon's process. It's not necessary for me to see my primary until preop time.

I second Enell. Best sports bra I've found for large chest. Expensive, but worth it!

Yay! I'm hoping to have my surgery Feb or March! I'm nervous, yet excited! Would love to follow others and get support also. Happy New Year everyone!

I'm going through the process of switching surgeons. I haven't had surgery yet, but want Dr Michael Schwartz to do my surgery. He has a program through St Joes and also through Abbott. Can anyone offer an opinion on either program or hospital? How long are the wait times to get in? How was your hospital stay? Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you.

Need your opinions please. I can't get a straight answer about the 6 month diet. My docs office says it's a requirement for my insurance (even though they haven't filed for prior auth yet). My husbands HR department said it's not one of their requirements. I've called UHC myself several times. Been told it's not needed. The last time I called I was told it's not on my personal policy, just a general requirement of UHC. The lady on the phone didn't know if I needed to complete it or not. What do you think? I'm confused.
