  1. I'm getting married in October and it is stressful to plan a wedding, but I also think it's one day that is our new day to the rest of our lives. I thought about eloping but my parents would shoot me! I'm Palestinian and come from a strict culture back ground. After some thought I said ok it's one day and now I'm on my way to a great day with all the ones I love. I'm greatfull they cut down the wedding party from 3-400 to 200! I didn't want all that.
  2. I never have done t25, but my trainer killed my yesterday! I can't even walk... Lol
  3. I can relate to you all. I haven't lost in 5 months. I bounce at 160-163... I start with a trainer tomorrow, hoping ill get to 140-145...
  4. I get a trenta iced coffee with sugar free vanilla and in my shaker bottle I mixx my milk, stevia and protein powder and wallah! My iced protein coffee... Can't live without it. I actually make it at home most days and only go there if I'm out of my own made iced coffee
  5. I just signed up with a personal trainer! Hopefully this does the trick!!
  6. Thank u I'm going to come up with a new routine. Thank you.
  7. Thanks for the reply. I tried 5:2 but can't do it because I'm a type one diabetic and had too many lows. Breakfast is my iced protein coffee, then something protein and veggie for lunch and dinner and I have 2-3 ounces of cheddar cheese as snacks through out the day. Sometimes I have two eggs for breakfast
  8. Tired of seeing 165, my dream number is 147! Should I liquid it for a week to jump start? Feeling like a failure and I need some guidance. Sometimes I eat enough and sometimes I don't. Getting to where I wanna give up. Does liquiding it help to jump start? I wanna see 158 again and be at goal. I'm 21 months post op. Down 90 pounds
  9. I'm in atascosita!
  10. Great topic because this bothers me with all my loose skin! I am engaged and in a long distance relationship until I get married in October, and everytime I'm with my fiancé I seem to be so self conscious about how I look. I get tired of wearing the spanx things and I know I can hide it, some ways, but it bothers me. He says he's fine with it but it's my new mission to get a LBL and breast lift.
  11. I'm 21 months out and stick to 20-30 carbs max and I'm down 90-93 pounds. (7-10 to goal) Low carb is what works for me and also don't take insulin anymore (type 1) when I stay away from processed carbs. Occasionally I'll have a bite or two of rice but I really avoid all carbs, inless it's a veggie. I notice the minute I eat carbs I feel tired and sluggish and gross! Lol. I drink sugar free things due to my diabetes but I eat everything and I don't believe in fat free or low fat because it's filled with sugars and carbs. Real fats r my fuel and I need them, in moderation.
  12. I'm a chef and have had no problems with smells or tastes, I just need less salt than I used to and couldn't do spicy after the beginning. I'm 21 months out now and just can't have too much sugar or fruit or I will dump and be in pain, so I stay away.
  13. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I still take omeprazole twice a day. Barely take insulin (type one) and a size 4/6
  14. I'll be two years out in July and still 12-15 pounds from goal. Tried so much and I guess I'm stuck at 160 at 5'6"
  15. I'm on the north side but I drive all over Houston.
  16. At 21 months post vsg and 6 months to my wedding I want to kick things up and try to tone up, yes I have some excess skin and I'm trying to avoid plastics because so many people tell me if I kick things up I can do it on my own (my brother , a freak about working out after losing a lot of weight when he was younger has gotten rid of his skin) tells me I can and I was reasearching body by vi for a 90 day kick start challenge and would love to hear reviews before I spend $200 a month .
  17. At at 21 months post vsg I had a kids gluten free pizza at my work the other day and it was great! I work in an all organic green and gluten free restaurant and decided on pizza. An hour later I checked my bs and it was at 82 after 3 small pieces. Being type one I was excited! It was yummy and thin crust with a crunch.
  18. I'm a type one diabetic and I balance what I eat to keep my sugar from dropping. Sometimes in uncontrollable and ill drop after eating about an hour later. I have to eat every 4 hours or so to keep this from happening. I'm almost two years post vsg
  19. Day 3-passed, feeling good but I'm still bouncing the same weight. I've been working out and eating clean. We shall see
  20. I'm going to start weight training, I did some functional training a few days ago and I'm really weak and need to build up my strength, I'm still soar from that. Thank u for the great tips!
