Good idea! I actually got 1 and 3/4 chicken strips down for supper tonight ! Really wanted the rest of that 3/4 but I knew better!

I am excited I just had 1 whole egg with cheese and a little help with some dry toast ! I know this is a no no but I can't eat eggs by theirselves!

I enjoy flounder and I pan seat it with a little olive oil an.d just a dash of flour on both sides! I can also eat catfish but I have only eaten this out! I don't know how to blacken it! I tried the warm drink to soothe pouch and my pouch still wants to act up when I eat!

My gas had gotten a lot better and I am six weeks out yesterday! I had to elevate myself when I got he because I felt like I couldn't catch my breath! I now flip and flop on both sides. It will get better!

Which side are you having pain? I had more pain on the right but not unbearable. I figured he moved a big instrument around to get to the left side but my pain is better. Man a feeding tube I would not want that either.

Yes thank you for your encouragement! Your right comparing yourself to others is not a good thing. I try to tell this to people I work with about me weighing etc. I am having a hard time eating four meals a day and getting all my water in. I always come close but I haven't been able to get it all in. My pouch is kinda nauseous in the am and I have to make myself eat for lunch. Anybody have the same thing or have any advice for me!

I can't seem to stand hamburger meat any longer! I have tried it but it just doesn't taste good anymore! I love chicken and I would like to try salad but I am scared to try it!

Wow Debbie that is fantastic! I am two days later than you and have only lost 38 lbs but I celebrate every lb as it moves me closer to being smaller! I am going to start eating a lot of chicken as that seems to be what I like the most ! Trying to find something my head wants is a trial.

Congrats Debbie I hope I am feeling better at 50 lbs lost! I still have no stamina but I know it will get better! How long ago was your surgery and what type do u have?

I haven't thrown up (knock on wood) but is sounds horrible . U know it the reason I don't regret my decision is because a small little growth I had turned out I be a gi stromal tumor which can turn I to cancer.

Amy c I feel very lucky to have all of you as friends! U no it please get on here and vent away as this may help you feel better And you have a lot of hormones raging around from weight loss! But we are all here for you!

I am like all of you in getting discouraged especially finding foods that like me! But I have never doubted the decision that I made! Do I think it really sucks at times heck yea but I told it will get somewhat better!

Yes I was two weeks puréed two weeks soft and then reg food! Although certain things are not recommended

I am on phase four but still having issues with certain foods maybe I am pushing my stomach I don't know! We are busy on the weekends so I can't always cook food maybe that's the problem needless to say I had oatmeal for supper. I am going to cook a roast tomorrow and see how that goes. When can we eat salads etc? I am only 5 weeks out this next Wednesday will be six. Do u think I am pushing it?

Me too! I found some chocolate protein muffins but I don't have all the ingredients to make them yet but I will!!! Then I think I sure hope they are good and don't taste nasty! What kinds of foods are you able to eat?

I am having my little tantrum of what can I eat anymore and missing my old favorites like mcdonalds quarter pounder with fries and other things! I am so craving chocolate cookies candy. Etc etc

Amy it was a little torture but I endured! I am just frustrated in finding things I can have that my pouch likes!

Cherry hair just drink your protein shakes to let your stomach settle down! My pouch is temperamental also! I find that bf I am do not wanting to eat at all and lunch a little but by supper I can eat more. What's up with that! At the movies watching literally my husband eat popcorn so I so not liking him right now!

I just had the best fajitas and the diced the onions small and cooked them well they were sooo soft! I have eaten a couple of M&ms but no dumping! I read you have to eat a lot if sugar to get it and I haven't really pushed that envelope yet!

Just had some pan seared flounder and it was heavenly! I just get bored with same food all the time! I live close I Louisiana so I eat the Cajun spicy stuff and so far it's been ok! Tried a few shrimp tonight also!

I start on reg food tomorrow but I am a little confused on what to eat! I know I need protein but then I've read chops steak and things like that are still too hard to digest! What about baked chicken? Anyone have any good recipes or websites to share!
