Have you thought about ordering some Premier Protein and having it shipped to your hotel? I'm not sure where you're staying. I know on the Disney property there is a grocery delivery service we've ordered from in the past (gardengrocer dot com). You can order a variety of foods. We've ordered healthy Snacks and even cases of bottles Water to take into the parks. Much cheaper and easier to control your snacks.

Oscar Mayer P3, they are little containers with a total of 2 oz, they have different combo of meat, cheese and nuts. They are about 120-140 calories, and have 12-15 grams of Protein. They have turkey, ham, and chicken, peanuts or almonds, and cheddar, or colby jack. http://www.proteinproteinprotein.com/ and they are only $1 at Walmart.< /p>
I just discovered these at my local store and I LOVE them!!!

I tried a Quest bar. Ate one bite. Spit it out and threw the rest in the trash. Glad I only bought one.

Congratulations on your journey!

What stage of diet are you going to be in? I went on a 7 day cruise at about 9 weeks post op. I was on solids by then, I just tried to be careful and eat fish or other softer foods.

I have the arm implant and hadn't had a period in MONTHS. About a week after surgery I started with a vengeance! My dr said this is fairly normal. Your body is reacting to the stress of surgery and the weight loss.

Congratulations! I would love to be able to run a 5K. Someday! What a great accomplishment!

Nope! Me too! I thought I was constipated once, but I just waited like an hour and the diarrhea returned.

I'm not necessarily a veteran (sleeved Jan 21, 2014), but I can give you a little insight. I had horrible acid reflux prior to surgery. I did not have a hiatal hernia which they were worried about. I still have some issues with reflux, although nothing like before. I still take my meds everyday, but I don't have the breakthrough pain and as many problems as I did before.

I tell people I'm dieting and controlling portions and carbs. Most everyone now knows I'm dieting, they just don't know about the surgery.

I'm in the same boat! I've lost about 50lbs (pre-op diet and post op). I can't even tell! So frustrating. I want my clothes falling off!

I had to have one after surgery before I could drink anything. My surgeon uses a blue dye test where I had to eat ice chips with blue dye and wait 30 minutes. We did 3 tests over an hour and a half. No big deal and I thought it was better than the barium drink X-ray tests some people have to do.

Just downloaded the Zen C25K app! Thanks for the suggestion.

I had horrible diarrhea right before my surgery. I assumed it was due to the 3 day liquid diet I had to do!

They put one on me after surgery and I woke up in recovery with it! It was amazing. I would definitely recommend one.

My husband is a pharmacist. He said they use the GI Cocktail in the hospital ER often. It can be made from different ingredients, so if the first "cocktail" doesn't work they can always change it up until they find something that works.

I have had several surgeries and for some reason anesthesia increases my blood pressure. I always make sure to tell my Dr and the anesthesiologist about it before surgery so they are ready. They always have to give me IV meds to bring my BP down, but as long as they know about it in advance and are ready for it, it is no big deal.

I had horrible reflux and heartburn before surg, it seems to be a little better now, but I still have some. I also take protonix and it has made a HUGE difference.
