  2. I am three weeks out...just started sleeping on my stomach about four days ago, I can tolerate it for awhile, but then have to roll over. No reflux, just know it's time. But if I can fall asleep on my stomach I'm good to go!

  4. I really needed this today! I was losing until last Sat., then it was up a pound, down a pound and up and down and it's so frustrating! I was thinking I was doing something wrong! But I'm just trying too hard and expecting too much, too soon. Thank you all for being there with your hard learned wisdom!!!

  6. I too have BC/BS of Illinois. I was denied the night before my surgery. My Dr.s office called them multiple times and they never called him back, so the surgery was cancelled. But the third day the ins. Dr. did call and when they talked the ins. agreed to pay. So now it's done and I am so thankful! Keep pushing!

  8. Had my VSG two weeks ago, feel great, no pain. But while getting my chicken ready for the blender I mindlessly popped a piece into my mouth and without properly chewing it, down it went and it wasn't pleasant! If you ever have this happen you will never do it again. I guess I will always have to be mindful of what I put into my mouth and how much I chew it. Just a warning to all those who will be having this surgery. When they chew, chew, chew....do it!!! Never regretting for a moment doing this surgery!!!
  9. I am a lot older than you are and I have the very same problem. Although I am sure that those who do know have told others, I have not. I did not tell anyone at work or church; I've always been shy about sharing personal details with others. So they will have ask me directly, I will not lie to them but will not volunteer any info either.
