    Since I've reached my first goal weight, which was a little bit ago, last night I rewarded myself. I re-pierced my ears at 8 gauge!! :DD

      It's a piercing size. It's also the same in medical terminology, when discussing needles sizes.

      Basically, a normal piercing will be a 20 or 18 gauge. Mine was an 8, so the piercing hole is a lot bigger. Did I explain it well enough? It can kinda be confusing.
