FEELING WEAK!! I am almost through with day 3 of my liquid pre-op diet. All I can have are sugar free drinks. Jello, Popsicles, broth and 3 Protein Drinks a day. I have strictly followed my diet and it hasn't been that bad but this evening I'm feeling a little weak. Any suggestions?

Oh sorry one last thing THANK GOD PRE-OP will be over in 2 days YAY!!!!! Sorry I had to go there!!

Well this ends day 1 of the liquid diet. Thank you Jesus! In some ways it was harder than I thought and in others not as bad.

Hi blessed4 My surgery is Nov 11 also. I am on a liquid fast for two weeks. If your doctor said a clear liquid diet did he give you a clear supplement to mix with Water. If not I would call his office and asked how you will get nutrition for the weeks before surgery. I do have a product I brought online that you mix with water and it is clear. Maybe he is thinking you should use something like that.

Thanks for posting. The sheet they gave me says "clear" but the list consist of sugar free drinks and sodas, sugar free Popsicles and Jello, broth and I can have 1-3 Protein Shakes a day. Where will your surgery be?
