  1. Thanks everyone! I did take the milk of magnesia, wild cherry! It wasn't too bad but nothing I want to get use to! I've been on solids for a little bit now but still no relieve. I've been so concentrated on the Protein that I've ignored everything else. I guess I need to branch out! I'll try adding more Fiber stuff and the raisins sound amazing. I've always loved them.

  2. I was soooooo there! I had my sleeve done on sept 30 and I regretted every minute of it! I craved everything! But I promise you it gets better. I've lost 36 lbs and I went through a week plateau where I lost nothing. Now I'm back to my old self. I'm actually happier now! I'm eating 2 oz of food every two hours. And I'll admit it I've even had pizza! Not much but it took the craving away. Hang in there! It will get better!!!

  3. Holy constipation! I haven't been able to go on my own since surgery. I've used stool softeners and laxatives. Laxatives are the only thing that works but I don't want to get dependent on them. Both the softeners and laxatives say don't use for more than a week. Someone suggested milk of magnesia but I've never had it. I broke down and bought some but the same thing, "don't use for more than a week". Does anyone have any suggestions? Diet options? I want to limit the number of medications that I have to take.

  4. I feel your pain! I felt no restrictions either at the first stages and I'm now on solid foods. I still find myself over eating sometimes. The guilt is horrible! Just yesterday I had too much and I'm now afraid to get on the scale! But I agree with the above posts...measure everything and only eat that! At my stage my doctor has recommended 2oz every 2 hours (2x2). It works for me and lets my mind know that in just two short hours I can eat again. My surgery was on sept 30 and I've lost 36 lbs so far. So I'm happy and getting use to my new eating style.
