  1. You'll be fine! Just take it a moment, hour and day at a time. Try not to think about the next 17 days today, it can be overwhelming. So, you slipped, don't bury yourself in guilt! Tomorrow is another day, another chance to move forward! Be Encouraged! YOU CAN DO THIS! Numenow
  2. Hi, Let me encourage you, try not to think so far ahead in the future of what you can and cannot have. This surgery will change you in ways only you will be able to tell. Most importantly, the sleeve is a tool to help make your dream of living happy and healthy a REALITY! I am willing to give up my popcorn and diet sprite....I'm firm on this now, perhaps in another 80 pounds I maybe tempted, but I really want to take care of this blessed tool that gives me another chance... Numenow
  3. Absolutely not! U are NOT doomed to be depressed! You are doing this, because you have struggled a long time, trying to solve your obesity issues on your own. I am 5 days post op and am so thankful that I had this opportunity in my life to FINALLY Live and be happy with my life! NO COLD FEET ALLOWED! numenow
  4. Don't worry! It will be well with you if you've followed your instructions! I had mine last Wednesday the 20th...I did very well..I am so thankful! Now I am at my 5th post op day....doing pretty well....walked a bit too much today though, so I'm feeling it now. Been sipping broth, eating Jello, drinking warm milk and trying to get my fluids in (water)...it's a bit of a challenge, but I'm just talking it a day at a time.... U CAN DO THIS! Numenow
  5. You can do this! It's not impossible! I did it last Monday and Tuesday! My surgery was Wednesday....think of your liver, this is crutial for your liver to have this time to rest and shrink...this makes the difference between your surgery going well and with possible complications U CAN DO THIS! Numenow

  7. I was banded in 2005, went from 246 to my lowest 184 in 3 years....not too long after that, I started having problems...eventually in 2010, because of my band slippage, it was removed. Now i'm up 20 pounds from where I began with the band. Starting over, and looking forward to a stable, permanent tool to help me get healthly and remain healthy. thanks for asking, Numenow!
