I reached my first goal weight today February 27th, 2014! I am 3 months and 1 week post op. I am down 70 pounds today and I currently weigh 150 pounds!!!

Thanks, guys!!! Yes, I actually have another 20 - 30 to lose to be a healthy bmi. I am just going to take it as it comes and what weight best suits me as an individual. I have been asked this question several times and I never really know how to answer. LOL! I just follow the basics, really. Tons of water. For exercise I was racing with my kids outside 30 - 45 mintes a day. Doing it with them took my mind off of the fact that i was exercising. That, however, came to a halt do to the weather. In Louisiana, we just aren't used to freezing temps. I do my own step aerobics thing using weights and my daughters step stool. loss. I wish I had a more routine plan that I follow to help you guys out more :-(. I am going to start swimming at our local rec center daily. My doc says it is the only cardio workout that works your whole body at one time, promotes a more hourglass figure, and helps improve breathing. Plus, it is low impact so no sore knees and all!
