Is it okay for me to chew sugar free gum after surgery??

Ready or not here I go...lol....I start my liquid diet on Wednesday...surgery date set for 1/29. Every emotion is flooding me...including 'oh lord is this the right time to do this'. I am SO ready to see a healthier thinner me in the mirror but Work is in sane my home life with kids schedule is insane and helping to care for my mom...just moved her into an assisted living facility but still there everyday. I know there is never going to be the 'right' time....now is as good as its going to get. I just need to breathe, pray and know that all will be fine and god willing in 6 months from now I will be looking back and so thankful that I had the surgery!!!! Would love any last minute tips before I start my 1 week liquid diet!

Would love to hear about your journey? What's a sample day menu for you now? Are there any foods that you can't eat-don't agree with you? Besides the obvious Weightloss..what's the best thing about having surgery? I'm scheduled fir 1/29...getting nervous. How was your recovery???

Super excited and nervous. My mom has been ill so I had her living with me a few months but just relocated her so now I can start to focus on me. So tired of being tired...I know losing weight will help me be the healthy mom of 3 I know I can be.

I'm finalizing my list of things I need right after surgery. Would love any input you might have! Going to order 'unjury' protein powder unflavored and choc, and I got the gas x strips, broth, sf jello, and sf Popsicles,

On a positive note...I think it's good in a way that your concerned about a leak so that we do things in our control to avoid one...vs some people who are trying to push the envelope and eat things they shouldn't. Stay positive...all will be okay!

HahahahLet me be the 1st to say to ALL the beautiful women from head to toe..inside and out here! Beauty goes far deeper than a face... Hey I guess its all good because we can and most us have lost 'weight' but for all the knuckleheads out there you just can't change 'ugly' lol.

Lord we need a club because I've gotten that too. Why oh why can't someone just say "Wow your very pretty". It has to always be "wow you gave a very pretty face". As if nothing else extra on me exists lol.
