  1. I'm trying to stick to 900-1000 per day.
  2. Hey Everyone! I have been using the Enspira Bariatric Multivitamin but just went to re-order and they are all sold out. It looks like they have created a new line of products but they aren't available yet. I just called and left a message asking when the new line will be available but in the meantime, I need to find a new bariatric multi vitamin. Any suggestions? Thank you!!
  3. Thank you for your post. When I eat things I'm "not supposed to" I find myself avoiding this forum or people who know I had the surgery and I start to isolate. This is not the best choice because then I berate myself and am not accountable to anyone so it becomes easier to make more unhealthy choices. Your post reminded me that we are all human, will all make "mistakes" and are all here to support each other when we need it . Hope today was a better day.
  4. Thanks everyone! I wanted to change my nutrition goals in My Fitness Pal to reflect what I should be eating. In the early stages the goal was 75% Protein and 25% carbs but as I get farther away from my surgery date I'm finding that unrealistic to keep up with. Before I started this thread I set mfp at 40-40-20. If I'm eating 900 calories/day that's 90g-90g-20g. So my next question is....how many calories per day are you eating (or did you eat from 3-6 months out)?
  5. I'm 1234name on mfp and will add everyone
  6. When were you sleeved and what percentage of your daily food intake is protein vs fat & carbs?
  7. I'm 11 weeks out and can gulp now
  8. You're looking gorgeous, b2b!!! Thanks for sharing!
  9. I was sleeved on Dec4 and have been swallowing the vitamins for a week now.
  10. Hey K33, did she say why?? I understand the need to get off the XR tablets but I don't know why the XR capsules would need to be changed. I'm wondering if they are somehow not as effective. Although I think they are absorbed in our intestines not our stomachs?
  11. I believe I am pre-diabetic. So, I am going to assume it is a bit of dehydration and low electrolites. I'll try to increase fluids and salt to see if that helps by tomorrow. If not, I'll go get some blood work done to see what's going on. Thanks for the quick replies everyone!!!!
  12. Just checked blood sugar, it is at 5.8 mmol/L. What qualifies as low blood pressure? I just ate some pureed Bean with Bacon Soup (an hour ago) and am now drinking Powerade. I think it is probably not enough liquids or sodium. I've had low Iron and low potassium in the past. I stopped tracking my food and fluids over the past few days but just started writing everything down again this morning. Man, doesn't take long to get off track.
  13. No, I'm not on bp meds. But when I checked it at the pharmacy it was 119/70 and then 2 days later was 117/67.
  14. I'm a bit concerned because I almost pass out everytime I get up from sitting. It also happens when I bend down and get up. I have had this in the past but only on occassion. It has been happening consistently over the past few days. Can anyone shed some light on what may be happening? I was sleeved on Dec.4th so am not quit a month out. Thanks.
  15. Ah, that makes sense. Never again will I cook protein powder lol.
  16. Sorry to hear, AC. I'm assuming your xr pills were tablet instead of capsule. Hang in there, this is temporary - you will be back on track soon!
  17. I started the puree stage on Saturday and tried microwaving oatmeal with Protein powder and it was disgusting. I had to throw it out, yucka. Is there a trick to adding Protein Powder to hot foods?
  18. Hiya fellow single sleevers. I was sleeved on Dec 4th, live in BC (Canada ) and am single. Look forward to getting to know other single sleevers!
  19. Great thread I just started purees yesterday and am still getting to know the various feelings, sounds and pressures my new stomach makes. I tried tuna with low fat mayo and Water today. I put it all in the blender and was able to eat a fair bit. Yesterday I could only eat 2 tablespoons of blended chicken.
  20. Thanks Misty! I tried starting with a bit of oatmeal and Protein powder but I couldn't handle the taste. But it didn't matter because after trying 2 teaspoons I felt full. I had som greek yogurt mixed with cottage cheese for lunch and the blended some chicken, a bit of broth and a tablespoon of spaghetti sauce. It was sooooo good. But again, full after only a few bites. I will try banana and Peanut Butter for Breakfast and then tuna for lunch with the left over chicken for dinner. I guess I will be able to eat a bit more everyday until I get to about half a cup per meal?
  21. Did u blend it? And if so, to the point that it is apple sauce texture? Thank u for answering my questions
  22. Yum! That sounds good. I'm so excited to have different flavours and textures tomorrow. Did you have canned tuna? What did you mix with it?
  23. Hi everyone I was sleeved on Dec 4 and tomorrow I start purée food (yay!). How much (volume) did you start eating when you moved to purée? And what did you eat? My list says "apple sauce consistency" and includes things like dark chicken, cottage cheese and canned meats. Does that mean I purée those items as they are? I imagine chicken won't purée to Apple sauce consistency on it's own. Did you mix it with something? And again, how much were you able to eat at first? Thank you!!!
  24. Kindle, so sorry to hear about all the travel challenges!! I hope you find coopspa so you at least have some company.
