  1. You look amazing! Thank u for posting!!! I am requesting a consultation from her
  2. Thanks! I'll PM u now
  3. Would u be willing to share some before and after photos?
  4. Thanks for replying sgc. I feel strange because it's not noticeable with clothes on. But will be with clothes off lol. Eeeek! And I have not told him about the surgery. He knows I've had struggles with food my whole life and that I've fluctuated with my weight over the years but I haven't told him I had the surgery.
  5. Hey Single Sleevers. Question for u all... I had my sleeve done over 3 years ago and while I feel confident with how I look WITH clothes on, I feel opposite without them. This makes dating and relationships challenging when it comes to physical intimacy. I haven't had plastics yet, but likely will in the Fall of this year. Until then, I'm wondering how u all have dealt with any negative body image issues when it comes to sex. I want to feel free, unlimited and comfortable. But I don't. I feel stressed, confined as embarrassed :s You?
  6. I was hoping there would be an excellent surgeon in Tijuana since it's easier for me to get to. But I'll definitely go where the best is and I've read a lot of great things about Dr Sauceda.
  7. So are there other excellent surgeons or is it just the 2 mentioned?
  8. Do they? I watched a few YouTube videos about them but didn't think they'd actually work. I'll try them.
  9. Thanks everyone. Yes, I also have more wrinkles but I'm ok with that. Hopefully my turkey neck with shrink with time. And good advice to save the money from creams for surgery - cause I'm definitely getting plastics!
  10. Totally relate and totally agree. But I'd still like to not wear turtle necks 24/7 lol.
  11. So, I won't be ready for plastics for another 9months but I already have a turkey neck that is driving me crazy. I've tried several expensive creams...none work. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to fix it without surgery?
  12. Dr verboonen does plastics? For some reason i thought he just did bariatric surgeries. Is he in Tijuana?
  13. Hi Everyone! If you you've had plastic surgery in Mexico and are happy, please tell me who your surgeon is. I'm getting closer to being ready for plastics and I want to start researching possibilities. Thank you!
  14. Hi Everyone, I am experiencing crossover addiction from food to alcohol and have even used some drugs over the past month. It is not good. Super glad I read this thread. Makes a huge difference knowing I'm not alone and that others have moved through it successfully.
  15. Hey Everyone, Thought I'd revive this thread instead of starting a new one. I'm taking 262.5mg Effexor XR and have been falling back in to a depression again over the past two months. I am 8 months out of surgery and am wondering if the pills are not asorbing as they should because of my smaller stomach. I also have been taking them in the morning with a Protein shake instead of with food and wondered if this maybe moved them through my system differently or faster. Anyone have any similar experiences or insights?
  16. I've been going a little crazy and dating a lot! It's been very freeing to feel attractive again. But now I'm really noticing my loose skin and may slow down until after plastics when I imagine I will feel more confident about allowing someone else to see my body.
  17. Thanks for respecting the powder room but I'm glad I got to read your post before u removed it!!! Hope you guys keep on keepin on!
  18. Hahaha!
  19. I'm wondering if anyone else can relate to what I'm going through lately. I don't know if it's a combination of Spring fever and a shrinking body or an attempt to replace food with sex but I am getting a lot of action lately. I'm not used to having a sex drive, lol. Anyone else go through this after surgery?
  20. Sorry for the delayed response. I didn't swallow the capsule at first because it was too big right after surgery. You can only take tiny sips of water at first because everything is so swollen. I think I started the capsules again a week after surgery.
  21. I'm on Effexor xr and was able to take them without interruption. I just opened the capsule and poured the contents in my mouth and swallowed with water
  22. My doctor said my dizziness was from low blood pressure. I wonder why some suggest more Protein. Is it the protein in particular or is it more food in general? Just curious.
  23. I only told my son pre-op and then my dad and step mom post-op. But I have a friend who struggles with her weight and I feel a sense of responsibility to tell her. I feel like I'm misleading her if I don't.
  24. Sometimes I have issues with blacking out after standing up. For me it is because of low blood pressure. It seems to get worse when I am not hydrating enough. Powerade and Gatorade only have sodium and potassium in them. If you just had the stomach flu, you are probably low in all your electrolytes. There is a proper electrolyte drink you can get at your pharmacy that will replace everything and is meant for situations like post-flu. Electrolyte deficiency can be extremely serious - definitely discuss with your doctor and in the meantime get that drink !
  25. That makes sense. It's simple and if you focus on protein and 1000 cals, the rest will fall into place.
